Ben Moore got in touch from Perth, Australia, after seeing pics of Volvo FH16s we'd delivered in the UK & Ireland. Understandably, he was keen to show us his mighty FH16 700 Globetrotter XXL! 👇 🌏 Working 10 days on, four days off, Ben delivers diesel to gold, iron ore and lithium mines all over Western Australia. He tells us he'll carry 103,000 litres of diesel per load, with a gross vehicle weight of 123.5 tons.💪👊 "We normally travel between 1,000 - 1,300km per day," he says. "On board we have a microwave, 240V inverter, fridge and diesel-powered cab air-conditioning for cooling the cab when parked overnight. "The truck is rated to 700hp, has I-Shift with crawler gears, and is a pleasure to operate! Overall length of this configuration is 36.5 metres, but there are Volvo rigs hauling iron ore road trains on Western Australia roads grossing 220 tons and 60 meters long!" #volvotrucks #volvofh16 #roadtrain
