🔥 I nearly solved this one on-camera. Had to pull out Excalidraw and write some psuedocode. In the end, my plan to pass the length as a return didn't work out. Counting down, and storing the max length outside of the call stack was the solution that avoids edge cases. 🔠 💡 LeetCode solution https://lnkd.in/gJW2mBrh 🎥 Youtube Solution https://lnkd.in/gavGkwwY

Devlog 3 (I guess) This time I have added 2 new Elements to the mix: Earth and Air, which can be swapped to just as easily as the other 2. I adjusted some of the variables of the elements (such as speed), so that they all feel a bit different and it is easier to tell their differences apart, especially on video. I have also implemented the beginnings of an Ability system which, much like other systems, I am have created so that more abilities can be easily created and tweaked, as well as easily interchangeable onto and off of the player. Here's another small video demonstration. I hope you like it :)

Great to dive into PL with Richard Feldman on Software Unscripted (https://lnkd.in/gPQsXwWz), a legit language implementer! We explored a wide range of topics, incl lessons learned Swift=>Mojo, how the structure of integer types + overflow is more complex than it might look, approaches to safety, acceleration of novel HW with Mojo etc. We had so much fun that there's a chance we might get to speak again in the future, let us know if there are specific topics you'd like us to dive deeper into on Software Unscripted! Day 119/125: #125DaysOfCode 🌟 ✅ Solved: Move Pieces to Obtain a String 💡 Concepts: Two Pointers, String 📌 Approach: Used two pointers to align 'L' and 'R' in start and target while skipping _. Verified movement constraints: 'L' can only move left. 'R' can only move right. 🔑 Takeaway: Efficiently validating transformations by focusing on constraints simplifies complex problems. On to Day 120! 🚀 #LeetCode #TwoPointers #String #125DaysOfCode
