SMALL GESTURE, BIG IMPACT. Often the small gestures that make the biggest impact on workplace morale and culture. One example, our company is always 100% virtual the week of July 4th. We also encourage our team to flex their hours during this week if needed. As long as our clients are taken care of, we want everyone to be with their families (or where they want to be) making memories. We are big believers in flexibility. It’s not just about getting the work done (although very important); it’s also about creating an environment where our team feels supported and valued. What small gestures do you think make a big difference in your workplace? #WorkLifeBalance #EmployeeWellbeing #CompanyCulture #Flexibility

Navigating Challenges with Our Gen Z Colleagues As our workplaces evolve, we're learning to work alongside Generation Z. They bring energy and fresh ideas, but collaborating with them can sometimes be a bit tricky. You know how everyone has their own way of talking? Well, Gen Z often prefers quick, casual chats like texting or messaging. It's kind of like their go-to mode of communication. But for some of us, that might feel a bit new or different. So, it's important to get on the same page to avoid any confusion. Now, when it comes to tech, Gen Z is all about the latest and greatest. They're used to everything changing super fast, so when things are a bit outdated, it can throw them off. That's why it's good for us to keep things up to date and offer some training to help them make the most of it. Feedback and growth are big deals for Gen Z. They really value hearing how they're doing and having chances to learn and grow. So, it's a good idea for managers to check in regularly and offer some guidance along the way. And, let's not forget about work-life balance. Gen Z grew up with screens all around them, so they might find it tough to switch off sometimes. That's where we can help by encouraging them to take breaks and make time for themselves. In a nutshell, working with Gen Z is all about understanding, flexibility, and lending a helping hand. By embracing their unique way of doing things and supporting their needs, we can create a workplace where everyone feels valued and can thrive. #genz #comeasyouare #navigating #challenges #makeadifference

Is happiness at work really possible? After reading this article I was inclined to share. https://lnkd.in/e-GTm446 I like to think it is! At yellow.global, we focus on kindness, caring, courage, and adventure—and we try to reflect that in how we work and support each other. For me, a happy team is one where everyone feels good and has a healthy balance between work and life. That’s why we regularly check in with our team and find ways to improve. Twice a year, we ask how everyone’s feeling and what could be better, and then we take action to make sure we’re all in a great space, both professionally and personally. Here’s a glimpse of what makes Yellow.Global special: - Work-life balance: We get that life happens! Our remote-first setup lets us work in a way that fits each of us best. Whether it’s taking a break over summer or enjoying a proper Christmas holiday, we all need time to recharge. - Annual team retreats: Even though we work remotely, we make time to connect in person once a year. Our retreats are full of fun, adventure, and plenty of great conversations, giving us a chance to bond beyond work. - Social events and team bonding: Throughout the year, we plan loads of social events to help us all stay connected and keep the camaraderie going strong. - Team challenges: Every couple of months, we mix things up with fun challenges that spark creativity and bring out our team spirit! What do you think—can happiness at work really happen? How do you create it in your workplace? #workplacehappiness #companyculture #wellbeing #teambonding #yellowglobal
