Today, I had attended the #AIRetreat, an event organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) in collaboration with the National Program for Artificial Intelligence. The event was held at AREA2071, near to the remarkable Museum of the Future. As I passed by the Museum of the Future, I couldn't help but feel that Dubai is truly a city of the future. It’s not just the futuristic architecture and skyscrapers, but also the robust frameworks, AI-integrated solutions across both government and private sectors, and the dedicated AI and innovation-focused ministries and initiatives that make Dubai a beacon of progress. This was the first event under the framework of the annual Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence. The gathering featured captivating panel discussions and high-profile roundtables, as well as interactive workshops and activations. I particularly enjoyed the panel discussion featuring leaders from AI startups, including Akshat Prakash from Camb.ai, Ahmed Mahmoud from DXwang, and Talal Thabet from Haltia.ai. Their insights into the growth and application of AI were trully interesting!
