Quote of the day. #qotd
1. When you love your job then growth and comfort exist. 2. When you dont have any expection from the company then growth and comfort exist. 3. When you are sorted in the mind then growth and confort exist.
Why are we constantly pushing the narrative that we need to make ourselves uncomfortable if we want to experience growth? This couldn't be further from the truth. Granted, growth can happen by being uncomfortable, but so can being comfortable. Learning a passion is comfortable growth. Living your truth is comfortable growth. Generally being comfortable with where we are can be some solid growth. We need to stop pushing people into uncomfortable situations for the sake of "growth".
As someone who’s been pushed to their limits a few times, I agree and disagree at the same time. Knowing that one is growing should bring comfort by itself, but it isn’t always the case. I agree because every time I am struggling, when I am facing new unfamiliar obstacles, I comfort myself with the fact that that this is learning experience and I will wake up better and stronger tomorrow. The steeper the curve, the more I am learning. Then I disagree because pushing over one’s limits, “growing” too much too fast, might crush them. Growing should be bearable. Growing should be powered by motivation, it should bring inspiration, not desperation.
A Question: Can growth never be a smooth ride❓ Is "comfort" state of mind not optimal for intelligent decision making❓ #growth #comfort #growthandsuccess
You have to come out of your comfort zone to grow..
"Growth and comfort never coexist" is a powerful statement that underscores the idea that personal, professional, and intellectual growth often requires stepping out of one's comfort zone. This concept suggests that comfort and ease seldom lead to significant improvement or development because they keep individuals in a state of complacency. Growth, on the other hand, is typically accompanied by challenges, discomfort, and the need to adapt to new circumstances or learn new skills. This phrase encourages embracing discomfort as a necessary part of the journey towards achieving one's goals and expanding one's capabilities. It's a reminder that the path to growth is often paved with obstacles and difficulties that, while uncomfortable, are essential for personal and professional development.
📢 It's important to recognize that some growth can occur within comfort zones as well.💥🤯 For example: ✅ Incremental Growth: Small, incremental improvements can happen within the comfort zone without necessarily requiring significant discomfort. These continuous improvements contribute to overall growth over time.⏳ ✅ Learning and Development: Not all learning experiences need to be uncomfortable. #continuouslearning and skill development can occur in supportive and nurturing environments that still provide a sense of comfort and security.💥 ✅ #sustainablegrowth: Pushing too far outside of one's comfort zone can lead to #burnout or overwhelm, hindering long-term growth. Sustainable growth often involves finding a balance between stretching boundaries and maintaining a sense of stability and #wellbeing. 🎯 In essence, while stepping out of one's comfort zone can indeed foster growth, it's not always a binary choice between growth and comfort.🙌 Both can coexist, and the key is finding a balance that allows for meaningful progress while also ensuring well-being and sustainability.

10moThis feels more like propaganda to make people work harder for no money. I see too much in the way of "just keep working, it'll pay off in the end". The end never seems to be in sight.
