I've seen many businesses overcomplicate how they monitor their journey. This creates a "jam tomorrow" mindset, slowing everything & everyone down and the results are always just out of reach! Drowning in metrics. 📊🌊 In countless presentations and discussions, one thought keeps haunting me: "We're measuring everything, but do we understand anything?" It reminds me of my early days working for big companies. Offices buzzing with activity, people feverishly delivering stuff while tracking countless metrics. Yet when asked, "How does this actually impact your bottom line?" you get blank stares or vague mumbles. 😶 That disconnect still bothers me. We've become experts at being busy and hoarding data, but novices at extracting meaning from it. Here's what I've learned: 1 - Easy-to-measure rarely equals important-to-know. 📏≠💡 2 - The link between actions and outcomes? Crucial, yet chronically overlooked. 🔗🕵️♂️ 3 - More metrics is less clarity. It's a deceptively professional-looking way to avoid solving real problems. ➕📉=➖🔍 4 - True insight comes from thoughtful analysis, not from piling on more spreadsheets. 🧠>🗂️ Increasingly, I like to start conversations with one simple question: "What truly drives your success?"
