Days and nights are better when your outfit just works! 😉 👉 Realised another style option with this fabulous blazer - wear it as a mini dress with a killer pair of heels, loafers and socks and/or flat sandals 😮 (the side pockets are perfect for this alternative way of wearing it) - I’ve got a pair of teeny weeny shorts that would be perfect underneath! Another option a tailored pair of shorts to the knee and/or pedal pushers! Omg so many possibilities!! Keys To a Great Cut 🔑 ✂️ Here are my hard and fast rules to a truly great tailored suit. Shoulder line: A sharp shoulder line is a must. 1cm too wide or too narrow can ruin a beautiful suit or jacket. Waistline: I have an obsession with the waistline. An opportunity is often missed to help the wearer look slimmer and sleeker (even when they’re not!) This is where I developed our exclusive seam shaping design. Sleeve length: Men often raise their arms and say- sleeves are too short. Mainly because they’re so used to drowning in long sleeves. Your sleeves should hit your wrist bone and your shirt should sit 1-2cm below. Jacket length: The perfect length is sitting just below your bum cheeks. There are varying ways to work out where’s best but the eye (a good one) knows exactly where it should sit to flatter and balance. Button position: So often I see the button position in completely the wrong place. It should be at the smallest part of your waist. If you think ‘I’m tubby, there is no small part’ then you’ll find it by placing your hands into the small of your back/waist this is where your button position should be in alignment with. For me, the first and last points are the most important: Rotate Your Suits: This is key. Wearing the same suit repeatedly without giving it time to rest can shorten its lifespan. Rotating your wardrobe helps the fabric recover and keeps the suit in top shape. Avoid Over Dry Cleaning: Dry cleaning can be harsh on suits and break down the fabric over time. Instead, spot clean as needed and steam carefully (watch out for the jacket’s canvassing when steaming). It’s all about your personal preference, style, and body type! . 👖 *No Break:* Means - Your pants just kiss the top of your shoes. (A break – a point at the bottom of your leg where your trousers meet the shoe.) . This clean, modern look works best with well-tailored tapered trousers. It’s a great way for shorter men to appear visually taller. (with good socks that is…) . My Personal Favourite? . 👖 *The Slight/Quarter Break:* This contemporary choice works well for almost everyone. For that polished look, make sure the back of your pant leg is slightly longer than the front. .
