Dr Roeland P.-J. E. Decorte, founder of Decorte Future Industries, discusses setting a big vision goal for your startup in this week's What I learnt interview. Established in 2019, his company's technology uses standard microphones to extract health data from sound, which could assist in identifying potential cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological issues. Decorte's big vision is that he wants to see its software integrated “on 3 billion smartphones by 2027”. He talks about how he came to set such an ambitious goal, and whether having it makes his business more or less attractive to venture capital investors....
