Tata Motors Tata Nexon EV MH Whats up with you guys? Don't you feel it's necessary to provide proper service to your customers? On Saturday night my driver got stuck on lonely stretch of the Mumbai-Bangalore highway, just outside Pune city, with a Battery Error at 5pm. The car just could not engage the Drive Mode. Immediately a case was registered with the Tata Road Side Assistance and little did we know that the ordeal was just about to begin. We were promptly informed by the "eager to help" team that the towing van will be there to pick up the vehicle latest by 6 pm. The clock ticked and ticked and ticked. 6:30 pm-7:00 pm - 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm - 8:30 pm....and still no sign of the towing van. Every time we called the response we were getting was, in max 15 mins the van will be there...Finally, after struggling for over 3 hours, we somehow managed to get a private towing van, pay a whopping Rs. 2500 for a meagre 3 km distance to the service centre and dump the car in the service station at 9:30 pm. And mind you, this is just the start. Going by the past service experiences with Tata Motors, I am sure I am not getting my vehicle back at least for a couple of weeks now. Guys, just by mass producing cars and giving discounts you will surely gain a new customer (like me). However, to have a loyal customer base who repeatedly buys products from you, a competent and effective service team is needed. I had read a lot about the infamous service support of Tata Motors, but unfortunately, had to experience it at the worst possible time and place!
