Bayanat & Yahsat merger to create Space42, a new global #AI-powered #space technology giant to be completed on October 1st! G42 #geospatial #AI company Bayanat and Mubadala #satellite services subsidiary Yahsat have confirmed that their merger will be finalised on 1st October 2024. Yahsat’s shares will be de-listed from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) by 30th September 2024, with Yahsat shareholders receiving newly issued Bayanat shares. The combined entity will trade under the symbol ‘SPACE42,’ marking the formation of a global space technology leader. The merger will consolidate Yahsat’s satellite communications expertise with Bayanat’s geospatial AI technology to drive innovation in space-based services across MENA and beyond.
