🛹 Mini Project: Electric Skateboard Mohammed Jawad Walji and I embarked on a small design exercise to simplify the electric skateboard while incorporating unique features. ✅ Explored a dual-gear system for optimized acceleration and cruising speeds—rear gear for quick acceleration, front gear for smooth cruising. This not only reduces motor RPM at high speeds but also ensures a seamless ride, even if the acceleration trigger is accidentally pressed. ✅ Leveraged sensor-equipped motors for independent speed monitoring. On low-friction surfaces, each wheel can adapt its speed, promising a consistently smooth and predictable acceleration experience. ✅ Innovated with mesh-designed tires for supreme comfort. Through tailored simulations, we're working to provide a customized ride feel for users of all sizes. ✅ Added side rails, allowing users to strap it to various surfaces, enhancing portability. #skateboarding #design #transport #concept #fusion360 #render #simple #designproject

🏆 Fat bike wins design award! We love the idea of a fat bike and as Dutch guys with a long history in cycling, we thought there was room for a different interpretation. We are honored that other designers and engineers have rewarded our efforts with an IF Design Award. Just imagine: ✅ A world first; a new tire size of 22x4 inches. Those two inches make all the difference to the look. ✅ Integrated saddle height adjustment. Standard on all other bikes, not available on fat bikes. Until we came along. ✅ Dealers can change the color of the bike at the last minute. Efficient stocking as you only need the frame covers to sell all the available colors. ✅ Rides like a Brekr with Gates belt drive, integrated gears and torque sensor ✅ Nice little details for the look and feel ❤ And importantly for us in the long run, everyone who knows our brand recognizes the F250 as a Brekr.
