When the wishes of the VOCAL minority take over the well being of the Majority - we end up with dictatorship. Watch what happened with Bangla Desh and what will happen to United Kingdom. Dictatorship in a 'civilized/ democratic country can be simple as two tier policing. The same happens in a business when we start catering for ALL minorities - we end up with a lower standard. The basic rule in business is survival of the fittest. The businesses are not there as a charity - although charities are a business - so if you are of a 'special group' then set up a business for that group and be a success: BUT don't expect ALL businesses to cater for you.

New independent research by the Directory of Social Change provides the latest analysis of the Armed Forces charity sector, with evidence, trends and insightful case studies from both small and large charities. Funded by Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT), this latest report is an important tool for charities to better understand the sector in which they operate, and to use this evidence to best support their beneficiaries. The report explores the challenges and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Armed Forces charities, and provides analysis of how the sector continues to provide support to its many beneficiaries. https://lnkd.in/eVb_xrwx #armedforcescommunity

You know how to make a difference Briggs Equipment UK Ltd! That’s why the NSPCC wants to become your next charity partner. By working together, we can make a real difference by raising the vital funds needed to stop child abuse, which half a million children in the UK suffer each year. Just imagine, your support could help enable the NSPCC to answer the calls made to Childline - one child calls us every 45 seconds! These calls really do make a difference to the children who call us. What we ask of the team at Briggs Equipment UK, is that you vote for the NSPCC to be your charity of the year, resulting in you leaving a legacy for children in the UK. You can support the NSPCC too by sharing this post with your Briggs Equipment UK colleagues and contacts. Thanks. #MakeADifference #CharityOfTheYear #NSPCC

Small charities are champions of proximity. Small charities put a bigger % of the funds they raise to work and deliver meaningfully. They have few administrative layers and act faster than bigger charities. Yet they have to put extensive efforts into raisng much needed funds. Building tools that help them raise more with less is vital. #SmallCharityWeek #techforgood #charityfundraiser

Such a shame that 4 in 5 (80%) of charities have board vacancies when being a volunteer trustee is such a rewarding role. We have helped charities use open & inclusive recruitment processes to find great trustees who had never thought about the role or hadn't applied because they believed they couldn't do it. Our blog on how charities can find the right mix of trustees, and enable them to have an impact contains useful tips and advice on trustee recruitment: https://lnkd.in/eqkB-NVK Read the NCVO research here: https://lnkd.in/esxpfFYg #TrusteesWeek #TrusteeRecruitment
