Do you feel a lack of inspiration? We have ideas for every day 😀 For example, April 10 is Siblings Day 👫. Remember how you spent time with your brother or sister as a child? 🍪 Did you share all the snacks equally? 🏰 Did you build blankets and furniture sheds imagining gorgeous palaces? 🍽️ Did you fight whose turn it is to wash the dishes? Every day the world celebrates some kind of holiday, and it's not only a reason to stir up memories or have a drink 🍹. It's also an excellent opportunity to send a message or create a social media post for your customers 💬 To help you with content, we prepared an April event #calendar with examples https://postly.app/3SOd 📆 Do you want an effective example of how you can use the most unexpected #holiday? We created an #AMP newsletter for National #Unicorn Day 🦄 Follow the link, turn on your imagination, and get inspired https://postly.app/3T83

What’s it like to share an office with the Marketing department, you ask? It’s never boring or quiet! There's always an event to plan, discussions buzzing, and content being crafted, from posts to blogs. A couple of weeks ago, I asked, 'Are we planning to decorate the office for Halloween?' Marketing said, 'No, let's just focus on the festive season this year.' Fast forward to today, and now it's, 'Did you hear that IT is decorating for Halloween? Let’s do this!' And so, ten paper cuts later, we have our new Halloween decorations. Mixing marketing with accounting might sound unconventional, but somehow, it just works for us! #LifeInIntus #INTUSWindowsLt #LoveYourTeam #HaveFun #marketing

Sometimes my family think I have gone mad. Today was one of those days. Mid summer and I am in the baking heat of our loft rummaging around for Christmas decorations. Yes, you read thst correctly, Christmas decorations in July. Why? For a client...of course. Carrie and I spent the morning shooting a promotional reel for a trades client. Their customers need to book in now for results ready for Christmas. Are you planning ahead? Do you have content ready for when you need it? Is your messaging on target and relevant? If you need support give us a call. #MarketingPlan #ContentCreation

Apparently, they used to hang witches from these very trees. 🧙♀️🌳 Bit spooky, but it is Halloween. And, in an attempt to think up a creative way to link Halloween with Branch Out Marketing, I think I've managed it. If you’ve seen the new Branch Out site, you’ll know I’m a fan of wordplay. (I may even have to rein it in sometimes.) So, here’s a wordplay story for Halloween from right here in Heavitree. Legend has it, Heavitree got its name from the local “head tree” that once served as Exeter's execution site, where heads 'n witches hung as warnings in the branches… Speaking of Branches...in other (less grisly) news - Branch Out Marketing is now trademarked! It may seem a bit of a cop-out to name the business after my surname, but it’s actually rooted (see what I did there?) in so much more. Branch Out Marketing means embracing storytelling, data insights, content innovation, a good sense of humour, and building connections with the right people in the right places. And as it enters its fourth year, it made sense to treat it with a trademark. Happy Halloween! 🎃 #branchoutmarketing #brandidentity #brandname #wordplay #marketing #socialmedia #contentmarketing #contentcreation #halloween #exeter

(Spotted at a flower shop in Brooklyn) An insight is not a deck prepared by consultants to justify the color of a browser's button, the shape of a new logo, or whatever else you can think of. An insight is an in-depth understanding of your people's needs in the context of your business. This flower shop knows it the best. Imagine this: you are on your way back home. It is the New York summer. You have just emerged from the 90-degree subway. It is 7 PM. You are mentalizing your dinner plan: maybe leftovers from the day before? Or should you treat yourself? Is it a TV show-with-a-roommate type of night? I mean, it is definitely too early in the week for a spontaneous happy hour at a local bar, right? But it may be time to treat yourself some other way. Maybe flowers? But once you've got into a roommate drama because of that. The roommate was wrong — Fluffster is way more bearable than your average cat! Makes good TikToks, too. But you learned. Lilies and cats don't vibe together. Lilies are toxic to cats. The place owner confirmed that their "cat-safe bouquets" are one of their most popular items, which exists precisely because he interviewed a few customers who he couldn't quite convince to get a bouquet for themselves. I mean, how can you not love insights? #insights

The Beauty of Imperfections 🙃 Last night, our street was treated to an early Christmas surprise – a street light decked in festive flair but with a quirky twist: it was upside down. My son took this photo to capture the moment, and at first glance it seemed like a blunder—when the light switched on, illuminating (in the truest sense) an error that Del Boy would make, it sparked this thought... The topsy-turvy light didn't just grab attention of other passersby; it gifted us an unscripted moment of festive giggles, a shared moment, and a lesson in the power of storytelling. The Christmas season is brimming with 'cookie-cutter' narratives. Standing out from the crowd isn't about following the perfect script; it's about crafting a tale that's uniquely yours, even if that means flipping the script, quite literally! Embracing our imperfections can be the very thing that makes us memorable. In a world so focused on polish and precision, there's something incredibly human and endearing about a little twist, a playful accident that sparks conversation and draws smiles from passersby. #ChristmasMagic #StandOutStories #AuthenticityWins #FestiveFun #PublicRelations #PRLessons #ChristmasPR #EmbraceImperfections #HolidayCampaigns #Storytelling

Holiday shopping can feel overwhelming, especially with a big family! Here are some practical ideas to keep things thoughtful and budget-friendly: 🎁Favorite Things White Elephant Gift Exchange: Instead of buying a gift for everyone, buy one gift you would want to win.(Look up White Elephant rules) Bring a gift, get a gift! 🎁 Gift an experience: Instead of adding to the pile of so-so gifts, consider gifting tickets to the zoo, a movie, or a local museum. 🎁Get CRAFTY: Think Pinterest! It can be a homemade holiday decoration or a delicious dessert. In the past, I have made hot chocolate bombs, customized candy jars, and peppermint fudge. What are your favorite ways to give gifts in a big family?
