"Education must start early when children develop moral and ethical values and are taught critical thinking, so they are not easily influenced by propaganda." President and CEO of @morselife Keith A. Myers said about the Signature Education Model, "As the world combats rising antisemitism, we are receiving interest from other states as well as from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria." Children need to learn how to treat each other with respect and dignity. As educators, we are responsible for providing these important lessons to help build a future that upholds the worth of every human life. With the Signature Education Model, students in grades 5-12 can easily learn and develop moral and ethical values. Available to school districts nationwide, teachers can have access to everything they need, such as comprehensive teaching tools and resources, to convey grade-appropriate lessons learned from the Holocaust. If you are an educator interested in bringing these powerful lessons to your school district, please visit https://lnkd.in/e5iQMutn to get started. #Holocaustlearningexperience #fightantisemitisim #bluesquare #🟦

Enriching students' understanding of global conflicts can start from an inspiring classroom initiative! In Bury, Greater Manchester, young minds at Tottington High School engaged in an innovative conflict study centered around a fictional scenario called Tottonia. This unique setup encouraged them to explore diverse perspectives on real-world issues, fostering empathy and critical thinking. During a special event, students interacted with representatives from organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières and Oxfam, deepening their grasp of the complexities surrounding conflicts. The result? An impactful engagement that not only broadened their horizons but also instilled hope for constructive dialogue and resolution. This kind of education is essential as it equips future leaders with the tools to approach real-life disputes with sensitivity and awareness. Their takeaways? Understanding that sorting underlying problems often paves the way for peaceful solutions, and the importance of viewing situations from multiple angles. What are your thoughts on incorporating conflict studies in schools? How can we further cultivate empathy and understanding among younger generations? https://lnkd.in/ehyFKWsK

🤔 Did you know “A third of Canadian adults don’t recall learning anything about civics in school. And the results for several key aspects of civic education are also quite poor. Only a third recall learning about current events (39%), how institutions and governments work (38%), and the roles and responsibilities of being a citizen (37%). Only 1 in 10 Canadians say were taught how to discuss controversial issues.” https://lnkd.in/gF9NDXyX We want to help you get educated and get involved. Join us for one of our upcoming course!
