WHAT MATERIAL TO USE IN SPC FOR INTEGRATED UNDERLAY Cork, EVA or IXPE, these materials are used as underlays for SPC flooring WHAT IS BETTER? CORK - is a completely natural product and contains (suberin), a waxy substance that is resistant to mold and mildew. Maintains thickness and acoustic integrity throughout the life of the floor; EVA – ethylene vinyl acetate – is an elastomeric polymer that produces materials that resemble rubber in terms of softness and elasticity. EVA can be found in many consumer products such as flip-flops and pool noodles. EVA tends to lose its acoustic properties over time; IXPE – Cross-linked polyethylene is a closed-cell foam that is 100% waterproof and resistant to mold, mildew, rot and bacteria. A durable material that maintains its thickness, integrity and offers excellent acoustic performance throughout the life of the floor. Floors with such a underlay can be glued to the subfloor For the same SPC floor thickness of 5 mm and a built-in underlay of 1 mm, the sound insulation value for the different materials is as follows: ⠀ 1. CORK - 18dB 2. EVA – 18dB 3. IXPE - 19-21dB *This information is taken from the technical data sheets of several SPC manufacturers⠀ More and more producers of premium vinyl floors SPC choose IXPE underlays instead of EVA or cork #spcflooring #spc #cork #eva #IXPE #vinylfloors #votsmarketing #export #votstock #underlay #integratedunderlay #acousticunderlay #sales

When you're working with neutral silicone sealants, it's good to know that they do expand slightly, especially during curing and with temperature changes. But don’t worry—this can actually be a big plus! Here's why: 🌀 Slight Expansion = Better Seal That little bit of expansion helps the sealant snugly fill gaps, giving you a reliable and long-lasting seal. ✅ Proper Application is Key To make sure the sealant works its best, it's important to use the right application methods. This will help maximize its performance and durability. 📏 Consider Joint Design Keep in mind the design of the joints you're sealing. This will ensure the sealant can expand and contract as needed without losing its effectiveness. Got a specific question or situation? 🤔 Share the details, and I can give you more tailored advice! #SiliconeSealant #DIY #HomeImprovement #SealingTips #BuildingMaterials

Heat transfer patches are applied using heat and pressure. The patch is placed onto the fabric with the adhesive side facing down. A heat press is then used to apply a specific temperature, pressure, and duration, allowing the adhesive to bond securely with the fabric. Once the pressing is complete, the transfer is left to cool, after which the backing film can be removed, a process known as "cold peeling." Cold peeling is often necessary because it allows the adhesive to fully bond with the fabric as it cools. Peeling off the backing while it's still warm can weaken the bond, causing parts of the design to lift or appear uneven. Cold peeling ensures that the entire patch adheres smoothly and lasts longer on the garment.

When selecting heavy-duty reclosable fasteners, it's essential to understand the distinctions between 3M's Dual Lock and Halco's Mushroom Hook systems. Dual Lock features rigid plastic stems with mushroom-shaped heads that snap together, making it ideal for mounting rigid panels and components. In contrast, Halco's Mushroom Hook Tape offers a flexible closure system with specially designed hooks, suitable for heavy-duty textile applications like automotive seating and industrial textiles. Choosing the appropriate fastener ensures optimal performance for your specific application. 🇬🇧 3 crucial reasons why high viscosity adhesive Hycol KD Plus is the right answer for resilient floorings projects. 1 Exceptional bond strength: High viscosity adhesives provide a superior bond strength, ensuring that resilient floorings remain securely in place even under heavy traffic or stress. This tenacity reduces the need for costly repairs and replacements. 2 Reduced slippage: The thicker consistency of high viscosity adhesives minimizes the risk of slippage during installation. This technical advantage is especially crucial for walls applications in environments where safety is paramount, such as hospitals, schools, or commercial spaces. 3 Enhanced sound dampening: High viscosity adhesives often have the ability to dampen sound, creating a quieter and more comfortable environment. This is a valuable feature for residential and commercial applications, where noise reduction is desired. These technical advantages make Hycol KD Plus, by Lechner SpA, high viscosity adhesive, a preferred choice for resilient floorings, ensuring both reliability and performance in various applications. #marcocaineroattitude #branding #marketexpansion #export #lechnerspa

6 Essential Tips for Buyers Choosing Silicone Sealants 1️⃣ Versatility and Substrate Compatibility: Does the sealant bond effectively to diverse substrates like glass, aluminum, or concrete? Ensuring strong adhesion across materials minimizes the risk of future failures. 2️⃣ Efficiency and Curing Speed: Time is money! A fast-curing sealant can align with tight project timelines, boosting overall productivity. 3️⃣ Durability and Environmental Resistance: Outdoor applications demand robust performance. Can the sealant withstand harsh weather conditions like UV rays, rain, or extreme temperatures without degradation? 4️⃣ Stability and Flexibility Under Stress: Buildings move, and so should your sealant. A product with excellent elongation and recovery capabilities ensures long-term reliability in dynamic joints. 5️⃣ Aesthetic Appeal: For colored sealants, consistency matters. Does the product maintain its shade after curing and exposure to light or heat, preserving your project’s visual appeal? 6️⃣ Long-Term Performance and Maintenance: Is the sealant resistant to chemicals and cleaners it may encounter? Durability over time reduces replacement and maintenance costs. Choosing the right sealant not only protects your project but also saves time and money in the long run. 👉 Looking for a reliable supplier with solutions tailored to your needs? What are some reasons you would use and avoid using silicone Sealants? In areas that flex, silicone sealant will eventually break, and it can’t be patched—it needs to be fully stripped and reapplied. I’ve switched to a multipurpose elastic sealant that lasts longer and can be patched when needed. Here’s my approach: ✅ Elastic sealant for sinks, taps, and shower enclosures. ✅ Silicone sealant for floor joints, fixed tiles, and non-flex points. 👉 If it flexes or might flex, use elastic sealant. If it doesn’t flex, silicone sealant is fine. #Sealants #ElasticSealant #SiliconeSealant #DIYTips #HomeImprovement #ConstructionMaterials #Plumbing #AdhesiveSolutions #BuildingMaintenance
