It is a process wherein two or more substrates are combined without the use of solvents, making it a safe and sustainable alternative to traditional laminating methods. One crucial component in solventless laminator is the variable frequency drive or VFD. VFDs are electronic controllers that regulate the speed of the motor, resulting in a controlled operation of the machine. They are essential in achieving consistent pressure and tension during the lamination process, which in turn ensures that the end product is of excellent quality. VFDs also reduce energy consumption by optimizing the machine's speed, which ultimately saves on production costs. By adjusting the motor speed to the machine's demand, VFDs eliminate unnecessary energy waste and minimize wear and tear on the equipment. In addition to its cost-saving benefits, VFDs also offer increased flexibility and productivity to the machine operator.
