MBKM Internship activities are a very impressive experience, in these activities internship students are required to improve their abilities, add insight, adapt to the work environment mentally, think critically and expand relationships. This activity takes place within a period of 3-4 active months. In this activity I became part of the Overseas Team, Law and Cooperation Section, Surabaya City Regional Secretariat. The focus of the team is to build and strengthen cooperation with foreign partners of the Surabaya City Government, discuss upcoming work programs with foreign partners, evaluate the performance of foreign partners, discuss the urgency needed. During this internship, I understand how the technicalities of a government structural system work and run, in addition to understanding how the environment in the world of work. MBKM internship program, the culture of being punctual and responsible is an individual obligation that must be lived.

I am thrilled to share my very first article translated during my internship at Mahkamah Konstitusi Republik Indonesia! Taking on this task was both exhilarating and challenging, as it required a meticulous balance of accuracy and interpretive skill. This milestone has not only been a fantastic learning experience but also a chance to deepen my understanding of legal translation intricacies. I am looking forward to continuing my journey in this field and facing more complex challenges. You can find this article, along with many others I've had the honor to translate, on the MKRI website. #Internship #Translation #LegalTranslation #MahkamahKonstitusi

During 2024, Svenska institutet initiated a pilot project with the Embassy of Sweden in Jakarta. The project provides internship opportunities at Swedish Companies for Indonesian students graduating this year and in particular alumni of the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals (SISGP) programme. This initiative is designed as a continuation of the academic experience of the alumni after completing their Masters studies in Sweden. The Swedish Embassy’s intern Tilda Barkselius interviewed four of the five interns at their companies. This is the second interview with Wildan Martoyo, alumni from Stockholms universitet, who is doing his internship at IKEA Supply AG. The first interview with Biyanto R. (IKEA Indonesia) is already published, the remaining two featuring Ilham Suryo Aldianto (Volvo Cars Indonesia) and Kharisma Dio Putra (Volvo Trucks) will be published this week.
