📢 Support Fair Advertising Standards for Young Adults! 📢 I’m thrilled to announce that our policy proposal to lower the age requirement for receiving text-based ads in regulated industries (such as firearms) from 21 to 18 is now live on the Policies for the People platform! Currently, 18-20-year-olds are restricted from receiving text-based ads, despite being legally recognized as adults for other responsibilities. This proposal aims to align CTIA’s regulations with federal and state standards, granting young adults fair access to lawful information and advertisements.
