Uline. Why do you advertise jobs in Rockford, IL when the jobs are actually in Kenosha (almost 2 hours away) or Pleasant Prarie (an hour and a half away). Is this not false advertising? Every job listing for Uline in Rockford, IL are actually jobs in Kenosha or Pleasant Prarie, WI. Will you pay to help me relocate to the Kenosha or Pleasant Prarie areas if I take a job as a Warehouse Associate? a Customer Service Rep? a Material Handler? Will you pay for all or a partial amount of the 15-20 hours a week of commute time if I take a job at your Pleasant Prarie or Kenosha facilities? Will you pay a higher hourly, or salary, to help compensate for either the relocation or the commute time? Do better. #EmploymentSearchFrustration

I wish sometimes people could see a little bit further when they read a CV with store manager experience. It’s NOT ONLY “store manager”, it’s way more then that. It should not be this difficult to find a job outside retail after spending all of this years multitasking and learning from basically every department, plus doing tasks that are not even in the description of a Store Manager position. I really feel a lot of job positions could benefit from the experience of a Store Manager. I’m still ready to take on new challenges outside the usual retail scene. #storemanager #opentowork #inbetweenjobs #newchallenge

Genuinely curious. I can understand why not to put someone's full address on a resume (safety/privacy reasons?). What I don't understand is why some people don't even include city and state (e.g. Middletown, New Jersey) on their resume? If you're applying for a merchandising position that requires some days on site, the recruiter will be looking for where you live. By not including that, they will need to reach out and ask you, or skip the extra step and pass onto other resumes that provided the information upfront.
