🎓 Celebrating Progress and Impact: #ATIMember Schools Leading the Way The work of expanding access and success for low-income students has never been more critical, and three of the four universities highlighted in this recent article— Rutgers University, University of California, Riverside, and University of California, Merced—are members of the American Talent Initiative (ATI). These schools are not only providing opportunities for students to succeed but are also making significant strides in closing the gap in graduation rates for Pell Grant recipients. At ATI, we believe that expanding access to higher education for lower-income students is essential to a more equitable future. Since 2016, our member institutions have collectively enrolled more than 18,100 additional Pell students, with many making incredible progress toward ambitious enrollment goals. Rutgers, UC Riverside, and UC Merced are shining examples of what’s possible when institutions prioritize both access and success, providing not just financial aid, but also crucial academic support and a sense of belonging. ❤️ Their stories reflect the heart of our mission: to mobilize higher education to be a powerful engine for opportunity and upward mobility. As we continue to accelerate our efforts, the progress of these ATI member schools is a reminder of the impact that thoughtful, deliberate action can have on students’ lives. The top private high schools in the United States have long been recognized as the through train to Ivy League colleges, and there is a long and close relationship between them and top universities. Some top U.S. high schools have been established with the express purpose of preparing young students for admission to Ivy League schools. Of the 179 schools on this list, 51% offer boarding and 49% are day schools only, with an average of 20% boarding students at day schools that offer partial boarding. the average boarding school tuition is $61,000 (roughly Rs. 430,000) for the 2022/2023 school year. The average annual tuition for boarding schools in the U.S. is 70,000 U.S. dollars (about 500,000 yuan). The list shows that among the top 10 boarding high schools, the U.S. occupies seven seats, with two schools new to the top 10, Hotchkiss High School and Kate High School.
