This past weekend, my son and I spent 2.5 hours working on a small project together. He measured, cut, and ran all the power tools—watching him learn was a reminder of some essential life lessons that apply to so much more than just building. 1️⃣ Start Now – You don’t need perfect plans. Just begin. Action beats hesitation. 2️⃣ Embrace Mistakes – Mistakes will happen, but failure is never final. Learn and adapt. 3️⃣ Be Resourceful – You’ll never have everything you need, so improvise and make it work. 4️⃣ Prepare Wisely – Measure twice, cut once as my dad always said. Preparation saves time and headaches. 5️⃣ Persevere – There’s nothing like the feeling of building something with your own hands. These are the kinds of lessons that last a lifetime. It's true.... Many times reservations agents don't input properly the passenger type code (PTC) in the PNR, whether CHD or INF as per Standard GDS or IBE in cryptic command or interface mode they use.... Leaving this important field blank does not create necessary auto SSR elements in the PNR as it notifies segment airlines about the presence of child PAX (or infant pax) in the PNR booked and without this important vital information things may go haywire at the airport if airlines suddenly change the equipment of operation at last minute or due to other operational reasons as they (the airlines) assume that all are Adult Seat Occupying PAXs in the PNR... That's why in my training sessions I greatly emphasize on such small small issues that a reservation and ticketing agent should keep in mind while creating a well balanced industry standard PNRs...
