I uploaded my “#Government #contracts and #grants” yesterday morning, but it seems to have simply vanished somewhere on #LinkedIn! Now, I want to comment on #John #Aguilar’s article on “Could #Colorado communities not friendly to #medicinal #mushrooms put up roadblock to stymie the industry?” published yesterday in #The #Denver #Post: Legality aside, our major concern is not the #NATURAL chemicals from #magic #mushrooms, #peyote, or #iboga, or even CBD or THC in Cannabis.  These chemicals have all been used for over millennia in their natural state within the herbs. Hence, there are no #contaminants from #synthetic #chemicals in our #natural #psychedelics.  These synthetics derived from #toxic petroleum (aka #petrochemicals) are brand-new to our planet with which we humans have no more than 150 years of interactions after the synthetic era began.   Since then, countless chemicals have been synthesized including ingestibles (#drugs & #additives) and non-ingestibles (Nylon, foam rubber, insecticides, plastics, etc.). They are countless! Let us just take synthetic #ingestibles (#drugs & #additives). They are never totally pure but are all #toxic #over #time. Hence, along with their #impurities over decades, they slowly but surely ruin our heath. Even the countless ones we don’t ingest like Nylon, foam rubber, and plastics that pollute our environment after decades, have broken down into small enough entities to enter our bodies via our polluted drinking water and contaminated foods to further damage our health, like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (#PFAS) now in the news. These toxins exist for no more than 15O years since we started making these synthetics without paying attention to where the ones we don’t use, or are useless, go.   And our #negligence has allowed the synthetics to develop and create its #vicious #cycle (#VC). It is not the VC defined by drug makers and their interdependent associates.  They define VC as due to our weak will prone to #addiction.  It is none of the drug makers’ or drug pushers’ fault because the drugs are always there.  They don’t blame their own #brainwashing #Americans since they are children. Nor do they ensure NOT to make them easily available. Now, this VC is an established fact. Here is how it works: The #side #effects of the synthetic #drugs (and their #impurities) are all toxic because they are #brand-#new to our planet, not long enough to prove their worth, if any. Just look at the #information #sheet of any synthetic drug, there are numerous to dozens of #side #effects. Some of these cause #new #diseases that need #new #drugs to treat, whose side effects and #new #diseases in turn require more of the same, #ad #infinitum!
