When building a pitch to raise capital, you have two traditional options: 1 - Design agencies: "Here's your beautiful deck with IRR labeled as ROI. Whoops lol." 2 - Investment banks: "Here's a template with numbers copy/pasted from excel. Just sent the six-figure invoice over." There’s a massive gap in the market. DESIGN AGENCIES: - Don't understand cap stacks - Confuse basic financial terms - Require endless revisions - Need financial education - Make critical mistakes INVESTMENT BANKS: - Charge premium fees - Provide recycled templates - Use junior staff - Deliver basic materials - Offer minimal customization When I set out to raise capital for the first time… I quickly realized that we need something in between. So we built it: - Analysts who understand the deal - Designers who know financial visualization - 7-10 day turnaround - Professional project management - Institutional-grade output The market validated this approach: - 2-3% penetration in lower middle market real estate - 96/100 average client rating - 316+ presentations delivered - 17+ industries served This isn't about being the cheapest or most expensive option. It's about being the right option for sophisticated sponsors who need institutional-grade materials without the investment bank price tag.

Imagine handing $45,000 to a top design agenc to create your pitch deck... And getting slides back with IRR labeled as ROI. (at least the colors and fonts are pretty) As ridiculous as it sounds, stuff like this happens all the time. And they aren’t trivial mistakes - it's the difference between getting a check and getting laughed out of the room. Here's what we've learned after creating 316+ institutional presentations: Financial design is its own discipline. The problem: - Design agencies don't understand cap stacks - Investment banks don't prioritize design - In-house teams lack specialized expertise What sophisticated firms actually need: ANALYSTS who: - Understand the deal fundamentals - Can interpret complex financial models - Know how to tell the investment story - Speak the language of institutional investors - Validate technical accuracy AND DESIGNERS who: - Understand financial visualization - Know institutional standards - Can represent complex strategies - Make data tell a story - Maintain professional polish One of our real estate clients had their internal team spend 40+ hours explaining basic financial concepts to their previous design agency. With our integrated team approach? 7-10 business days from kickoff to institutional-grade deck. Because financial expertise + design capabilities = effective capital-raising materials. This is why we built both disciplines in-house. It's not just about efficiency - it's about getting it right. When you're raising $30M+ (our average deal size), you can't afford to have either piece missing.
