For professionals navigating change management and digital technology adoption, this OJC Café is a must.
📅 Invitation - OJC Café The next OJC Café is scheduled, on Tuesday, July 9th in Vannes, France at OJC Conseil (our headquarters)! Join us for a discussion on "𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻". Effective change management and project communication invests resources in the "people" side of projects to ensure an understanding of why change is occurring, expected outcomes, and available training. Often, this key project component is excluded due to budget constraints, yet doing so risks the project's failure. That's why OJC understands the importance of quick wins. By implementing short, impactful actions while respecting reduced budgets, we enable management to empower their teams for a smooth transition towards adopting digital solutions. We invite you to explore this topic with the OJC team of Lucie RANNOU, Jacques Bonjean, Océane Dublé, Aurélie DEMANESSE and Benoit Merouze. 👉🏼 If you are interested in attending, register now: https://lnkd.in/eTJf-iz7 or by e-mail at contact@ojc-consulting.com. #OJCExpertise #changemanagement #projectcommunication #café #webinar #vannes #invitation

Developing capacity for Communities of Practice and inspiring KM champions Today IMA ran a 90 minute webinar for the Volta Rivers Authority, Ghana, as they prepare to form new Communities of Practice (CoP) to enhance organisational learning and knowledge sharing. The webinar addressed challenges such as needing tools to facilitate knowledge sharing, job role handovers and sharing tacit knowledge. The presentation focused on thinking about how to inspire KM champions and promote KM though advocacy, as well as skills required for a KM champion and how they are key for creating and maintaining CoPs. We looked at Circles of Influence, fundamentals of CoPs, structures, formation, shared examples like World Cafés, and ingredients for a healthy CoP. The webinar engaged discussion among participants from different departments of VRA, encouraged reflection, and inspired questions like: What are key strategies to promote and sustain the knowledge management CoP in an organisation? How can we measure progress of a CoP? Overall it was a thought-provoking webinar and we enjoyed sharing ideas and discussion with participants from the VRA Ghana. Find out more about knowledge sharing, CoPs and how to enhance your organisational learning on IMA's Knowledge Management course. https://lnkd.in/eSFWDduX

I think Change the Game Academy is doing an incredible job in empowering local nonprofits to break free from an overreliance on scarce short-term project-based donor funding by looking inward to attain financial sustainability. #localfundraising #travaillensemble #financialsustainability #OnEstEnsemble
This week, our brazilian partner CESE - Coordenadoria Ecumênica de Serviço, with support from Misereor , kicked off a new course in local fundraising. This time, the group consists of organisations that operate in urban areas and foster dialogue between rural and urban communities to defend rights. In addition to highlighting the importance of local and national resources, the initiative combines practical activities with insightful content, introducing new management and communication tools. These tools empower entities to act with greater vigor and autonomy in their actions and projects. The training runs until tomorrow and includes participation from over 12 organisations from the Northeast and Midwest regions.

When I saw the email from International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasia that 87% of people had supported the plan to extend the term of current Board members, one question came to mind: "Would this engagement process win an IAP2 Core Values Award?" And since I'm a bit of a data geek, I also wondered about the numbers behind that 87% support. What percentage of the members voted? Did that 87% include people with vested interests or did they abstain from voting? How inclusive was the process? Did it include the online poll (which many members thought was online voting)? But really the biggest question that comes to mind is this: "why, in a membership group of 15 thousand engagement professionals, is it so hard to get people to nominate for the Board or engage in the Industry association's engagement processes?" Or to use a favourite phrase of Katie from my team, "why aren't we drinking our own champagne?!" 🍾 Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 🚀🚀 Proud to support European Women on Boards (EWOB)’s Board Readiness Program, where excellence meets opportunity. Why do we still need these initiatives in 2024? Because: ‼️ While women make up 17.4% of board members (DAX, MDAX, SDAX) in Germany, there is 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 (!) 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐎 of a DAX 40 company: Belén Garijo (CEO of Merck). ‼️ While the proportion of women on supervisory boards (DAX, MDAX, SDAX) is 36.1%, in Germany there are 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 of supervisory boards of the 160 listed companies. Key facts above: Lea-Sophie Cramer 🙌🏻
36 women from Belgium, Turkey, Germany, Ireland, Iran, Greece and many other countries are coming together for the first time. 💫 We are very proud to welcome the 4th cohort of EWOB Board Readiness Program (BRP)! This 3-month experience is both tactical preparation for future board positions and an opportunity to build a supportive network, committed to being strong advocates for each other, and unabashedly visible. Welcome everyone, we are excited to have you here - and we wish all a great first session on 'Developing a strategic pathway to the boardroom'. 🚀
