The SDGs provide a globally recognized pathway to the future we want, but only 16% of the SDG targets are currently on track to be achieved by 2030. The remaining 84% show limited or reversing progress. The need for action on the Global Goals is greater than ever! & With the yearly @SDG Flag Day organizations worldwide raise awareness on this crucial topic. #SDGFlagDay #TogetherForTheSDGs #GlobalGoals #GlobalGoalsLocalBusiness #UnitingBusiness #TenPrinciples #confidentfutures

Celebrating Young Leadership: Meet Rawan, the 7 Year Old Eco Champion This International Children’s Day, I am proud to highlight a remarkable young leader my niece, Rawan. At just 7 years old, Rawan has already earned a place on her school’s Eco Committee, taking responsibility for creating a more sustainable future. Her passion for protecting our planet and her determination to make an impact are a testament to the incredible leadership potential young girls hold. Rawan is not just participating; she’s setting an example for her peers and showing us all that age is no barrier to leadership or change making. At Bright Future Development Organisation (BFDO), we believe in empowering youth to lead with confidence and purpose. Rawan’s journey reflects the core of this mission: nurturing the voices, talents and ideas of young people, especially girls, to shape a brighter and more equitable future. My message to the world on this International Children’s Day: ✅ Invest in young girls. Their ideas and potential can solve today’s greatest challenges. ✅ Listen to their voices. Empower them to speak up and lead with confidence. ✅ Celebrate their impact. From classrooms to global platforms, their leadership is essential. As COP29 continues, Rawan’s story reminds us that young leaders are not only aware of the environmental challenges we face but are also taking steps to drive the change our world so desperately needs. Their commitment to environmental stewardship is a powerful example for the world. Let’s commit to building a future where every child, regardless of their background, has the chance to lead and contribute to a better world. To the next generation of leaders, including Rawan: the future is in good hands with you. #InternationalChildrensDay #YouthLeadership #Empowerment #BrightFuture #COP29 #ClimateAction #YoungEcoChampions #GirlPower #FutureLeaders #ChangeMakers #GlobalLeadership #YouthVoices #ClimateJustice #SDGs #InvestInYouth #EnvironmentalLeadership #GirlsInLeadership #YouthForChange #ClimateSolutions #FutureOfOurPlanet #LeadershipDevelopment #GirlEmpowerment #ActionForChange #YouthActivism #ClimateActionNow #LeadershipStartsYoung

"The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not followers." - Ralph Nader Of course it is easier said than done, but we adapt it faster if we make it a core priority in our initiatives! A few days back, I had the opportunity to attend the Climate Justice Camp, as a part of ‘People for Climate’ organized by Greenpeace, which focused on activism, leadership, and climate campaigning. Cheers to a full day of exploring activism, understanding true leadership, and, my favourite part; building effective relationships. What do we want?! CLIMATE JUSTICE When do want it ?! NOW This is the decade of action…. Climate Action. Responsibility ,Collaboration and appropriate decisions goes a long way to sustain ourselves and the planet. This, in a nutshell, my learning’s from the Climate Justice camp organised by Greenpeace. Extremely grateful to meet fellow climate advocates and share ideas and collaborate on policy and process discussions. In the end, climate isn’t a space for people to work for or be involved in, it’s a shared responsibility of all things living. ~yours truly PS: small changes have big impact #hotpeopleforacoolplanet #climateaction #climatejustice (In frame: hot people for a cool planet🌱🌏)
