As part of our Personal Leadership Program, we use the powerful 'Boat Analogy' tool to help students reflect on their journey towards self-discovery and growth as they travel from Week 1 to the graduations. The tool serves as a powerful reminder that growth often requires us to confront the unknown and push past our fears. ⛵ Our young people have been bravely navigating the challenges of building resilience, setting goals, and charting a course for a brighter future. They have made a conscious decision to step out of their comfort zones, confront their fears, and strive for positive change. Students at Kadina Memorial School shared: “I've used the strategies from the program to make real progress towards my goals.” “Stepping out of my comfort zone has been tough, as I am a person who normally sticks to what they know but it's helped me grow.” “I'm proud of the progress I've made – I'm kinder, more confident, and a better version of myself.” We're incredibly proud of our students for embracing this challenge and taking control of their personal growth! 🚀 #PersonalLeadership #SelfDiscovery #GrowthMindset #BoatAnalogy

The ability to recognize one's own limitations is crucial for effective leadership. Self-deception can be a hindrance to this process, as it can make it difficult to identify our own faults and limitations. That's why cultivating self-awareness is key. By actively seeking to understand our own blind spots, we can more effectively identify and address them. This can lead to better decision-making, improved communication, and stronger relationships with those around us. Take the time to reflect on your own strengths and weaknesses, and work to cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness. It has the potential to pay dividends in your personal and professional life. #PricelessCoaching #ActionCuresFear #SelfAwareness #Leadership #Mindset

Masterful leadership isn't about short-term wins, but long-term success. To attain true mastery as leaders, we need to play the long game. That means tackling one new skill at a time, taking it slow with daily practices, and extending grace to ourselves as we stumble our way up the ladder of competence. As the great teacher Thomas Merton wrote, "We must make the choices that enable us to fulfill the deepest capacities of our real selves." Becoming all we are capable of requires strategic intentionality, patience, and most of all, grace. #LEADERSHIP #SELFAWARENESS #LEADERSHIPMASTERY

Our ability to change may be more crucial than our ability to learn. We're often praised for our knowledge and experience. But what if our greatest strength lies in our capacity to question and unlearn our deeply ingrained beliefs? I've found that the most unexpected and valuable lesson in my career has been learning how to unlearn. It's a skill that's rarely discussed but increasingly critical in our business environment. Swipe through to explore my U.N.L.E.A.R.N framework - a practical approach to mastering the art of unlearning. This isn't just about forgetting; it's about intentionally challenging our assumptions and adapting our leadership style to stay relevant and effective. Hey everybody, I’ve been reflecting on what it truly means to lead, and I keep coming back to this thought: "Your potential to lead is defined by your willingness to learn and share. In every challenge, there's a lesson; in every success, a chance to uplift others." It's easy to get caught up in titles and achievements, but real leadership is about continuous learning and empowering those around us. Every challenge we face teaches us something valuable, and every success is an opportunity to lift someone else up. For those who strive to be leaders, embrace the journey and strive to make a positive impact every day. Motivation may be a topic that its importance is highly underrated. Motivation is the seed of growth mindset and can be considered top 3 importance to leadership. However, training of motivation is comparatively less to other leadership topics. Because … …motivation is something important but not urgent? …motivation is hard to visualise the effect? …motivation is too hard for leaders to learn and use? …? #motivation #strength #leadershiptraining #rocktraining #millswomg #黃仲遠
