Mobile phones and social media have undeniably transformed our lives, becoming indispensable tools for communication, information, and entertainment. However, their excessive use can lead to significant distractions, diverting attention from crucial personal and professional goals. Neha Byadwal, an IAS officer, experienced this firsthand when she failed her first attempt at the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). Realizing the impact of social media and mobile phones on her focus, she made a bold decision to cut off distractions, limit mobile phone usage, and avoid social media entirely for three years. This disciplined approach allowed her to channel her energy solely into preparing for one of India’s most challenging exams, ultimately helping her achieve her dream. #upsc #civilservices #ias #nehabyadwal #inspiration #motivation #successstory #discipline #focus #determination #distractionfree #digitaldetox #socialmediadetox #mobilephonedetox #exampreparation #studytips #studygram #upscaspirants #indianadministrativeservice #hardwork #dedication #goalsetting #achieveyourdreams #nevergiveup #persistence #upscmotivation #upscjourney #digitalwellbeing #mindfulness #productivity #timemanagement

Once struggling academically, Anil Kumar Rai from Uttar Pradesh defied all odds to become a distinguished IPS officer. Growing up, Anil’s passion for films often overshadowed his studies, much to the dismay of his father, who dreamt of him becoming an officer. Anil secured the third division in Class 10 — a score that cast doubts on his ability and led to taunts from relatives. Despite, this, his father never gave up on him, emphasising that education was the key to a better life. Taking his father’s words to heart, he dedicated himself to his studies, passing Class 12 with a second division and eventually topping his post-graduation with 71%. Recalling his early days, Anil shared with Indian Masterminds, “When my father came to drop me off at college, he was emotional and told me to honour his decision and study hard. He also advised me to move slowly but surely towards the top. These words stayed with me, and I never looked back.” Though family circumstances forced him to abandon his plans for a PhD, Anil’s aspirations did not diminish. Turning his focus to civil services, he finally cracked the PPS to become a Deputy SP. He then wanted to prepare for the UPSC, but the sudden passing of his father left him with family responsibilities, prompting him to join as a DSP. In 2002, Anil was promoted to IPS and has since been awarded the President’s Police Medal twice for his exemplary service. What a true inspiration! #Inspiration #SuccessStory #IPSOfficer #AllahabadUniversity #UttarPradesh #Education [Anil Kumar Rai, IPS officer, success story, Uttar Pradesh, Inspiration, UPSC, UPPSC]

“We would get power, typically low-voltage, for hardly three to four hours in our village. In such a situation, kerosene lamps served as a resource for us,” recalls Anshuman Raj. Growing up in Nawanagar, a village in Bihar lacking basic amenities like roads and electricity, Anshuman studied under a kerosene lamp. After his father’s rice mill business collapsed due to illness, his mother became the family’s backbone, juggling a teaching job with a salary of just Rs 1500 and running a home beauty parlour to make ends meet. Despite the hardships, Anshuman graduated in 2013 and became a marine engineer, working for a Hong Kong-based company. While working full-time as a marine engineer, he began preparing for the UPSC exam, spending six months a year at sea without internet access. During his three-month breaks, Anshuman stayed with his brother in Haldia, West Bengal, to focus on his UPSC preparation in a quiet environment. Balancing his studies with family responsibilities, he cleared the Mains on his second attempt but narrowly missed success at the interview stage. Medical emergencies further tested Anshuman's resolve, but he never gave up. Enquiry by #UPSC and #Government of India Every year more than 1 million students prepare for UPSC examination to fulfill their childhood dreams. In this very process, majority of the students give their heart and soul for this preparation with a belief that the examination in fair in all its entirety. However such events may raise a big question mark and create doubts in the minds of lakhs of sincere students about this prestigious examination . This may not be one odd event and UPSC being a constitutitional body can not leave this incident go unenquired. An all india level enquiry to verify certificates of all those candidates who were selected based on their caste , disability or EWS certificate must be ordered by UPSC to maintain the sanctity of this examination . It will not only upheld its meritorious nature but will make sure that the special provisions provided for weaker sections are not been taken away by undeserving candidates through such unethical means. #poojakhedkar #upsc #ias #justice #pune

#UPSC has filed a case against IAS probationer Puja Khedkar to cancel her Civil Services Exam-2022 candidature and ban her from future exams. But what about the deserving candidate who missed out on this opportunity due to such forgeries? Whose responsibility to think about such students ? How many others such cases remain undetected? How did a questionable disability certificate slip through the cracks? Who is accountable for verifying these crucial documents? We must question if all aspirants are getting a fair chance. UPSC, it's time to ensure transparency and fairness for everyone. Stand up for the integrity of the process and support every hardworking aspirant. 🗣️ #UPSC #CivilServices #Transparency #Fairness #Accountability

After reading the below article, I thought how this issue can be solved. In India everything is linked to Aadhar card and PAN card. Why can't educational qualifications be linked to Aafhar card. All the valid universities to be scrutinized and then authorised to link the certificates to Aadhar card. Also, when all the financial transactions are linked to PAN card then why we have to file ITR. #aadharcard #pancard #citizen #india #taxfiling #education UPSC Cancels Puja Khedkar's IAS Selection, Bans Her From Taking Exam Ever https://lnkd.in/emfmf-mT
