Documentary: YTA TCT® mechanical cutter successful job Blexen Germany. Starring Bastian Griasskin, YTA B.V. and WELL SERVICES GROUP An Excellence Logging Company.   YTA TCT® successfully delivered a clean and neat cut, and eliminated a 6 million euros well integrity risk for USG Blexen GmbH, part of the German National Strategic Energy Reserve Agency.   Our 2-1/8” (54mm) TCT® Cutter, cut the 2-7/8” production pipe under automatic mode, with real time communication, control and monitoring from surface.   USG Blexen, the Well Operator, called out our cutting services to cut a bent tail section of the production tubing in their storage well, in order to access the lower part of the cavern to perform integrity inspection. The operation could not be performed with explosives, or chemicals, or radial torch cutting, due to the risk of these elements damaging the adjacent casing, which would then cost approximately 6 million euros to replace.   Having demonstrated the perfect cutting by TCT® on surface, USG Blexen was confident that we could carry out the operation safely and cleanly. We did.    TCT® cutting is safe, clean and saves money. No dangerous goods permit, no difficult logistics, no risk to your casing, no need for re-dressing or milling: perfect cut, money saved, job perfectly done.   TCT®, super intelligent and fully automated, and if you like, human interactive cutting. Real time communicating, control and monitoring from the surface. 2-1/8"OD cutter cuts 2-7/8" and 3-1/2" pipes, slot cutting and / or full pipe cutting, single or multiple cuts, fully flexible, all done in one downhole trip. Co-stars: Thorben Meyer; Michel Heidbuurt; Christian Wieczorek; Nicky Veenstra and many more.
