Have you ever been mocked in a text chain because of your green bubbles? If so, sorry to hear that, people are just mean. Also, the DOJ is suing Apple as a result of this mockery! Well, technically, the DOJ is suing Apple for a variety of reasons based on the alleged roadblocks Apple puts up interfering with interoperability between its devices and other hardware/software. Anyone who knows me is aware of my standing on Apple for both their business practices and culture, as well as technology. So with the recent DOJ anti-trust lawsuit with the (IMHO) rotten Apple, I am keenly interested in the outcome. Personal feelings aside, there is a clear difference between a consumer's sentiment on Apple's actions and business practices, and a technology-focused as well as an anti-competitive viewpoint on the matter. Some news I found interesting is Apple's recent legal trouble. This includes the Epic vs Apple lawsuit, the European Union antitrust penalty, as well as the most recent DOJ antitrust lawsuit. These cases are mostly trying to fight unfair payment processing tactics in the app store.
