The Top 10 Biggest Airlines in the Middle East by seat capacity (and yes, there is one foreign one as well) Airlines in the Middle East have been busy adding seats in the month of Oct. FLYNAS added an additional 248,000 seats (an increase of 26%) in Oct 2024 vs Oct 2023 Etihad with 220,000 more seats (a 25% increase); and Saudia with 148,000 more seats (up 6%) Gulf Air recorded the fastest growth rate this month, with the airline increasing seats by 27% compared to last Oct Qatar Airways was slightly lower with a -1.3% drop And then you have Indigo from #india In terms of total seats 💺 1) Emirates 2) Saudia 3) Qatar Airways Also interesting to see that 50% of the top ten are low cost airlines! #aviation #travel

Air Arabia to Resume Sharjah-Yanbu Service on November 28 - Air Arabia, the UAE-based low-cost carrier, has announced plans to resume its Sharjah – Yanbu route starting November 28, 2024. The route will be serviced by the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet, which is well-suited for the relatively short journey between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
