Ways the Black Feminist Fund leads: 1. Eight-year flexible grants to sustain Black feminist organizations around the world 2. The Global Black Feminist Forum held in Barbados, bringing together 300 activists, scholars, practitioners in philanthropy. One of the many reasons this was crucial is because the Caribbean is the only global region without its own feminist fund 3. Participatory, stipended grantmaking process and committee 4. Funding registered and non-registered and non-registered groups 5. Breaking the global north-south binary by funding and connecting Black feminist groups in the Americas, the Middle East, Europe and Africa. #whereBFFleadsphilanthropyshouldfollow

THE OUTSIDE IS ONLY A MIRROR OF THE INSIDE: Ancient scriptures show that FREEDOM is a natural state of the subconscious mind or soul that is eternal and limitless. The soul is ANDROGENIC by nature, i.e. MALE AND FEMALE ARE INSEPARABLE ONE at the soul level. In order to EXPERIENCE ITSELF under conditions of limitation, the soul created a conscious mind or ego that creates and governs physical reality. Because of this, the natural MALE-FEMALE UNITY at the soul level is perceived at the ego level as SEPARATION AND CONFLICT BETWEEN MAN AND WOMAN with the aim of establishing SUPREMEITY OF ONE OVER THE OTHER. Human development goes in the direction of ABSORPTION OF THE EGO INTO THE SOUL from which it originated. This implies that the soul receives INFORMATION ABOUT ALL EXPERIENCES of separation and conflict between the male and female principles, regardless of whether the experiences are in the male or female physical body. In practical terms, this means approaching FREEDOM AS THE NATURAL STATE OF ALL PEOPLE. It also means approaching the UNITY AND HARMONY OF THE MALE AND FEMALE PRINCIPLES, regardless of whether they are in a MALE OR FEMALE PHYSICAL BODY. The harmony between MAN AND WOMAN is, in this sense, JUST A MIRROR REFLECTION of the inner harmony of the male and female principles. #malefemaleunity #equilibrium #jasnicaklaramatic
Today is #MandelaDay! We remember Nelson Mandela as a brave women's rights advocate, whose efforts to bring freedom and justice to women and girls remain an inspiration for us all. His legacy lives on.

#Misogynoir #racism #DEI #Blackleadership #law #publichealth There is a lack of coherent black leadership in the UK. We are weakened by not having a Black Body like the NAACP ( albeit this is not perfect) to respond. Truth be told Dianne Abbott stands alone. I feel deeply worried and ashamed about this. 😔 We have laws, so now is the time to test the laws. I think the way forward is for the Society of Black Lawyers including Allies for Peace and Justice to support Dianne Abbott. Individual responses do not pack the punch. I am happy to be proved wrong here.I do not see a response of 100,000 people petitioning for parliament to discuss this. This is a test case for anti-black racism in the public domain. If I was a lawyer, I would be chomping at the bits to kick-start this. The call for the Tory party to return the funds is not the issue here. 😔 Misogynoir is our day-to-day lived experience. Therefore, reading about this is a trigger to remind us that we are not safe. So, Prof, you are right to ask. Where are the feminists? I extend that question and ask for more, what space do black women have to be together to process this trigger? So, in addition to the legal response, there is also a medical aspect. There is ample research to prove that racism has been shown to cause anxiety.and stress, so therefore it is a Social Determinant of Health. 😔 Therefore, I would argue that this as a public health issue. This incident happened in public aimed at Diane Abbott and Black women. Not only Black women in the UK. Black women globally! Maybe, it is time for we need a Black International Women’s Day, to highlight Misogynoir and other toxic anti black racist actions that target global black women 🤔 See the link to my article that I wrote about International Women's Day . Currents events have shifted my thinking, we need to create an international platform for black women. In sisterhood solidarity for peace, wellbeing and happiness.https://https://lnkd.in/dt-vVJAr 😊
I keep thinking about Frank Hester' call for what appears to be femicide and the silence of our feminist sisters on this. Quite often Black women are not seen as women by so many including those fighting for women's rights. Solidarity with Diane Abbott.

Jah & Jahes love. I wish that one of these women would adopt me or create a program for low-wealth and struggling black women. I have never, ever, benefitted from the philanthropy of any of these women. But, they reportedly give millions away each year in gifts and stuff. Blessed love.#1804#Ayiti#ToutMounseMoun#AbolishCPS#AbolishPoverty#DefundFosterCare#ProChoice#RawVeganforLife#HRES40NOW#NoNewOccupationofAyiti#ProChoice#BwaKale

WHAT THE FU*CK? This is outrageous. Less than 1% of venture capital funding goes to businesses owned by Black and Hispanic women. So, it really doesn’t make sense for the court to order the Fearless Fund to suspend its Strivers Grant Contest which provides $20,000 to businesses that are owned by Black women. This is a damn good example of the inequality that Black women continue to face! This decision is a major setback that underscores the importance of our continued fight for equality and justice for Black and other marginalized, underserved communities. The key to addressing inequality is to level the playing field. Take a listen here to British lawyer Pauline Campbell. It’s time for us to unite together and lift up our voices to support Black women, our families and communities. As another DEI advocate, Tamara Johnson-Draper aptly said, “This ruling is not just a challenge to one grant program but a challenge to all of us who believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our resilience and determination will see us through.” Please join me and my team at Ponder Diversity Group as we develop, implement and promote legally defensible solutions that support and uplift Black women, other women and people of color. It’s time to hold our heads up high to boldly, unapologetically demand change and work together to fight for equality. We must be brave and courageous, knowing we are much stronger together and cannot be stopped.⚫️ #fearlessfund #diversity #equity #inclusion #workplacediversity #supplierdiversity #DEI #blackwomen #blackwomenprofessionals #blackwomenbusinessowners #blackwomenlawyers #blackwomenleaders #blackownedbusinesses #minoritybusinesses #underrepresentation #leadership #governmentcontracting #procurement #lawfirm #legalservices #grantconsulting
The Federal Court have blocked Fearless Fund from making grants to just black woman. But do you think this will prevent black women from continuing to fight for their right to access to Equality across the board. I don't think so. #Equality #positiveaction

In this month's CGC Journal, we dive into the War Waged Against Black Women and DEI. Plus, we ask the critical question: Why do a majority of White women vote polar opposite of the majority of Black women ... and all nonwhite women? We want to hear from you. Join our co-learning community and let's have a conversation. To make substantive progress we must understand the enemies of our progress. https://lnkd.in/gctvFRz5

📣 One week ago, Women Deliver unveiled our new look! More than just a visual makeover, this refresh helps to better answer the question, "So, what does Women Deliver do, aside from the Conferences?" Answer: We advance the health and rights of adolescent girls by creating spaces for collective action, championing and supporting youth advocacy, and convening likeminded organizations. And we focus on three primary issues impacting sexual and reproductive health and rights #SRHR: 👩⚕️ Universal health coverage 🌡 The climate crisis 🛑 Countering anti-rights actors Read more in this post from my colleague, Kimberley Lufkin, https://lnkd.in/eU3quSAN
