Excellent points, Val. We who saw 9/11 terrorist acts will never forget the loss to so many families. It seems today, the principle of “see something, say something” lost its impact. When Ivy League and other students, potentially funded by foreign terrorists and career protesters, waved Hamas and ISIS flags, vandalized monuments, and intimidated Jewish and other students, it appears that speaking up no longer makes a difference. Many colleges fail to address severe antisemitic actions, while minor infractions against other groups often result in expulsion. Is it 1939 Germany or 2024 America? I have to ask myself seeing so many posts rightfully, honestly recognize our terrible losses on 9/11... but I haven't seen mention here or on the news of who did it and why. And now similar terror groups are here, loud, proud, and popularly accepted by faculty and students more than ever before. Let's not forget 9/11--and who and why they slaughtered innocents. And we can't afford to forget that terroristic goal hasn't diminished, as daily evidence indicates.
Today, we come together as a nation to remember September 11, 2001—a day that tested our strength but never broke our spirit. In the face of tragedy, we saw the best of humanity: compassion, resilience, and unity. As we honor the lives lost and the heroes who emerged, let us also celebrate the enduring strength that unites us all. Together, we are stronger. #UnitedWeStand #NeverForget #September11 #StrongerTogether

As Americans, we stand united in our commitment to the values that define our great nation: freedom, resilience, and compassion. 9/11 was not just an attack on buildings or people; it was an attack on the very principles that bind us together. Yet, in the face of unimaginable tragedy, we witnessed the strength of the American spirit. We saw communities come together, strangers helping strangers, and a nation rising from the ashes with renewed resolve. Today, as we honor those who lost their lives, we reflect on the importance of unity and understanding in a world that too often seeks to divide. And in the spirit of one nation, we pledge to work toward a future where compassion and understanding prevail over hatred and division. #NeverForget #UnitedWeStand #HonorAndRemember #September11 #9/11 #HinduAmerican

Today, we mark a day that has forever altered the course of history, not just for a nation, but for humanity. September 11th, 2001, a date that resonates with sorrow, courage, and an unyielding spirit of unity. On this day, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. Each life was a universe of stories, dreams, and love, abruptly ended in an act of unimaginable cruelty. We honor them by: - Remembering: Their names, their faces, their stories. They were fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, and colleagues. Each was a world unto themselves, now a star in our collective memory. - Reflecting: On the resilience of the human spirit. In the face of terror, ordinary people became heroes. Firefighters, police officers, first responders, and countless civilians showed us what bravery truly means. - Uniting: In the aftermath, barriers fell, and for a moment, the world stood as one. This unity, this shared humanity, is what we must strive to maintain. - Acting: Today, let's not just mourn but act. Volunteer, give blood, support those still affected, and work towards a world where peace isn't just a dream but a reality. - Educating: For those too young to remember, or for those who weren't born yet, share the stories. Knowledge of our past is crucial to shaping a better future. *A Moment of Silence:* At 8:46 AM, the moment the first tower was struck, let's pause. In that silence, let's remember, let's grieve, and let's resolve to never forget. September 11th reminds us of the fragility of life and the strength of our collective resolve. Today, we stand together, not just in memory but in hope for a future where such tragedies are but history. Let's honor those we lost by living with purpose, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to peace. #NeverForget #September11th #Unity #resilience #honorthem #firstresponders

The attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City changed the world as we knew it, leaving an indelible mark on our collective memory. On this solemn day, we come together to pay tribute to the 2,977 lives lost and the thousands injured. We remember not only the direct victims but also their families, friends and all those whose lives were forever altered. 9/11 taught us about: 1. Resilience: The ability of New York and America to recover and rebuild. 2. Unity: How tragedy can bring people together beyond differences. 3. Heroism: The countless acts of bravery by first responders and ordinary citizens. As we reflect on this day, it's crucial that we keep alive the spirit of solidarity and compassion that arose from the ashes.
