Excited to share that I recently participated in the HackToCrack hackathon and had an incredible experience exploring new technologies and collaborating with fellow developers! During the hackathon, I had the opportunity to dive deep into cutting-edge technologies such as Prisma, UploadThing, Clerk Next.js, and Aiven. Each of these tools brought unique functionalities to the table, empowering us to develop innovative solutions and push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of tech. Prisma simplified database management, allowing us to efficiently interact with and manipulate data. UploadThing provided seamless file uploading capabilities, enhancing the user experience of our project. Clerk Next.js facilitated user authentication and authorization, ensuring the security of our application. Aiven enabled us to deploy and manage various cloud services, streamlining our development process. I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with my team and leverage these technologies to tackle real-world challenges. participating in HackToCrack was not only a learning experience but also a testament to the power of teamwork, creativity, and innovation in the tech community. Looking forward to applying the knowledge and skills gained from this hackathon to future projects and continuing to explore the ever-evolving landscape of technology! #Hackathon #Teamwork #LearningAndDevelopment #problemsolving #webdevelopment

Project #Convo for @supabase open source hackathon. It experiments with a fun concept that use LLM as role play characters in various scenarios for English learners to practice conversations. Had fun building with Supabase anonymous signin, oauth, and database features. And big thanks to my school mate Keith for helping with the TSS feature! In #Convo, you can browse various scenarios, have conversations with different roles and try to achieve set goals and target words. Turn on the mic and speak to the agent. See your performance evaluation. Sign in to Google to save your conversations and resume it later anytime in any device. And just simply enjoy a focused distraction-free conversation. #Convo is designed to be simple, easy to use, fully responsive, support both light and dark mode. Try it out here: https://convo.website

Since #specklethron uses #speckle libraries to connect to his mother ship, he can "see" accounts logged in your local manager. You can just ask him to log in and he knows what to do. Then you can browse your account. Since #semantickernel uses Speckle SDK directly you don't need to worry that your credential will be fed to #chatgpt. #LLM gets only a response for the Speckle server. By the way, it is an entry to the #beyondthespeckleverse hackathon by #speckle. You can still vote for them at https://lnkd.in/dBfFtTX5

I had an absolute blast participating in the Web Dev Challenge Hackathon 4: Monsters! hosted by Learn with Jason. The prompt was wild—monsters have arrived, and we were tasked with building an app to help navigate this new world. For my project, I created Kaiju Klimate, a weather app designed to predict the impact of nearby monsters on the forecast. It might look like your average weather app, but under the hood, it required some creative manipulation of weather API data to ensure the right monster data was processed through Convex. Speaking of which, the requirements for the hackathon was to utilize Convex and Clerk.com, two tools I have never used before. I am so happy to learn about Convex and Clerk because they were an absolute dream to work with. Convex made database interactions so seamless, allowing me to handle data without any hassles. And Clerk’s authentication? Simple and effortless. Both tools fit perfectly into the project, and they were a breeze to integrate. I'm definitely going to utilize them in future projects! Big shoutout to Jason Lengstorf for organizing such a fun and creative hackathon. Can’t wait to join the next one! Check out the comments for links on the Live site, GitHub Repo, and more details on the Hackathon. #hackathon #webdev #Convex #Clerk #KaijuKlimate #LearnWithJason #coding #monsters
