Great insights. But the situation isn’t as easy as it may seem to. Many people are not watching TV, especially those who are born after 1990. OTT is damn popular and yet it’s viewership is nowhere near YouTubes following. In China the number of film screens are expanding while in India it is reducing. They say content is king but BS films become blockbusters. TV and Cinema halls will eventually wither away.

Employees of Zee Entertainment are in profit. Promoters holding 3-4% stake are also in profit. Only retail investors are in loss and the company does not care about them. See his smile
