To enhance profitability in product operations, it's crucial to consider not only the cost of goods and the efficiency of the supply chain, but also how operations can bolster sales at full price.   Aligning consumer demand with supply is indeed a pivotal strategy.🥇   Allow me to illustrate with two examples from my experience on how to better respond to consumer demand:   👉 By sourcing closer to the point of sale, such as through re-shoring production, you can achieve faster supply, enabling orders to be placed closer to demand for more accurate inventory at retail.   👉 Synchronizing orders with sell-out demand in-season can reduce future order share, for instance, through automatic replenishment of evergreen products.   The central idea is to closely align with consumer demand to maximize sales at full price.💰   Implementing these changes requires dedicated internal resources, and that's where the expertise of Zefyr Consulting LLC can yield significant efficiency gains! 💪😉

In my experience, that question always begins and ends with freight management. Whether inbound from Asia or outbound to customers, there's ALWAYS room to find costs by working with carriers, optimizing routes, consolidating shipments, etc. Yeah, there's work involved in changing and onboarding new partners and you don't want to play that card too often, but that's usually my first stop.

From an IT Consultant perspective, one of the things I look at with clients is how much money is being spent on subscriptions, especially for cloud services. Is there any money to be saved by decreasing the license count, especially for users who are no longer with the company or organization. A careful analysis of these automatic annual renewals can result in a sizeable decrease in cost, even for "smaller" businesses.
