Nice! Did you know that in my last position I was a project coordinator for residential elevators? 🛗 I loved 🥰 the work! From step 1 of reviewing floor plans and chatting with the architects or contractors, to handling the RFQ’s, ordering the elevator package and additional materials, arranging delivery, applying for any necessary permits, scheduling the crew, and finally assembling and reviewing the close out package with the homeowner. Yes, I loved 🥰 it. What a process! Some of these jobs went on for years, with new homes being built from the ground up. Like several multi-home communities. One in particular had 80+ units over a 5 year period. I’d get to do on-site visits too! With my fancy safety bag that was heavier than I was. Nic in steel toes, hardhat and safety glasses 🤣 Have you ever stood in an elevator pit? I have 🙋🏻♀️… Don’t worry, it was unfinished. No elevator installed yet 🤭… I was being taught to measure the pit and floor to floor travel… Ok, enough of this for now! Machine Technology making their mark in European sport Lumiforte is an established global leader in the development and production of innovative paint coating in the horticulture and sporting industries. Their reach extends to over 70 countries and with more than 30 years of experience, they are considered a solid and reliable partner to their clients. Their work in the sports sector falls under their sister brand, Selectline, who provide state of the art line marking products and equipment which support and elevate the sporting fields on which they are used. In late 2023, we travelled to Europe to meet with Selectline, with the goal in mind of bringing their highly durable, expert quality paint to the Australian market. Now, we’re partnering with Selectline and Lumiforte again, only this time in the realm of manufacturing. Specifically, Machine Technology will be a lead manufacturer of Selectline’s line marking equipment, the same equipment which continues to be used globally to apply their highly regarded line marking paint. Our capability and proven competency for manufacturing high quality, industry specific products was impressive enough to capture Lumiforte’s interests. The line marking machinery that they’ve used in the past is highly trusted by their clients and thus of great value to their company. Therefore, it was crucial that we were able to meet this established standard, and that Lumiforte could trust us to do so. The line marking machinery that we are now producing for Lumiforte has been carefully tailored to not only suit, but maximise the application of their paint products. This level of customisation and attention to Lumiforte’s needs has proven that their trust in Machine Technology was well placed. It also demonstrates the level of trust and respect that the Australian manufacturing industry has earnt in the eyes of international businesses. The reliability that Lumiforte and Selectline has built in the sports sector for over 30 years is something we now seek to both uphold and exceed in our efforts to become a globally recognised and respected manufacturer.
