The leisure market is all about the experience. While electric boats offer an amazing experience in terms of silence, ease of use and lack of fumes the more powerful the motor setup the bigger the expectations of range becomes. As seen at METSTRADE 2024 more and more producers offer powerful electric motors but the actual challenge might sit in how to adequately power these in relation to expectations and cost. For the foreseeable future will there be a solution to the range vs. value issue, will the technology catch up or do we need to adopt our usage? Thoughts?
