An excellent idea for your learning or training needs:::FESTO DIDACTICS:::💙:::
💡 "Necessity is indeed the mother of invention," as wisely stated by Plato, a timeless aphorism that has resonated through the ages. It sheds light on the extraordinary creativity demonstrated by numerous teachers in their classrooms. Take Professor Theodore Wildi, a Canadian electrical engineering teacher. Faced with the challenge of creating an ideal hands-on lab for his students, he couldn’t find equipment that lived up to his expectations. So, he decided to create his own training systems and to write a comprehensive textbook. His commitment to providing the best for his students led him to create training equipment that exceeded expectations. What's even more inspiring is how his ingenuity didn't stop at his classroom doors – word spread, and he began commercializing the equipment. Now, over 60 years later, thousands of electrical engineering laboratories around the world are equipped with learning systems based on his concept. And our didactic electrical engineering team continues his legacy by continuously updating and upgrading the concept. This story is a testament to the creativity and dedication of teachers who go above and beyond to ensure their students have the best learning experiences. Let's celebrate the educators who, like Professor Wildi, shape the future with their innovative spirit. 🎉 🙌 #StoryBehind #InnovationInEducation #EducationMatters

We Bring It Back Again! Exactly two weeks ago, our Team Superb campaign began - to blare the megaphone for more engineers to explore the power of storytelling. Engr. Messiah Edache Ameh, MNSE, MNIEEE, MIAENG Oloruntimileyin Olaoye, GMNSE Now let's do this again. Have you wondered: What is storytelling? Why is it so important and what are the benefits of effective storytelling? Find out in this One day Capacity Development Workshop of The Nigerian University Engineering Students’ Association (NUESA) National Secretariat We will: ✅ expose young engineers to a different aspect of storytelling and the enormous benefits of this soft skill for professionals. ✅ show how young Engineers can effectively develop and utilise this skill for professional growth. ✅ highlight practical examples of professionals who used this skill for their career growth. Topic: Leveraging Storytelling as a Competitive Advantage for Professional Growth 📅 Date: March 30th, 2024 🕰️ Time: 8:00 PM (Nigerian Time) 📍Venue: Zoom Meeting ID: 823 7392 8404 Passcode: 445529 🔗 Click here to join: https://lnkd.in/dS-wB4C8 If you missed the last one, here is a second chance! Tag an engineer you know who shouldn't miss this.

Hey guys, People often need to pay more attention to the importance of process engineering, including process engineers themselves. While the process team may not be as numerous as other disciplines, their importance in shaping the project's outcome cannot be underestimated. After working on so many projects and with so many process engineers, I have discovered some unique limitations and characteristics that need to be added in those engineers. Those characteristics' absence led to several complications and problems in the project. One misconception is that whatever process does remains to the process team; for example if the process team consumes more resources or proposes a sub-optimal design, then the process team is accountable as such, and another misconception is that main responsibility of the process group is to do simulation and come up with PFD, heat and mass balance as well as P&ID with philosophies but the real thing is that whatever scheme process proposes is not mentioned by anyone, that is why nobody cross-questions what is the rationale behind using various options or doing the selection among the possibilities. Purely due to these reasons, a designed process, PFD, and P&ID get backlash at later stages of the project, which also has consequences for the downstream disciplines. In this video, I've highlighted the importance of critical thinking in process engineering. As a process engineer, you should be able to evaluate various options critically and not just accept something at its surface, even if it's from the client. Only a robust scheme, which the process team can defend, will truly propel the project forward. So, best of luck and happy learning. Even though the topic is vast, I've structured it into three comprehensive videos. These videos will provide a good start for new process engineers and offer fundamental guidelines for seasoned professionals. After seeing the three videos, I am confident that all of the audience would get a feel of how the process team should operate in a fast-track project environment. https://lnkd.in/dBbRcyqg
