A recent exchange of thoughts in the comments under Filip Wielanier 🍪 post prompted me to reflect on why it's important for business founders to understand the value of branding in today's world 💡 Building a strong, recognizable brand is impossible without the founder's awareness of this matter. You can hire great designers, project managers, but when it comes to small and medium-sized businesses, the founder is the Brand's father and the main foundation of its values. Therefore, I've decided to contribute to the awareness of founders in the context of branding by writing a series of posts on this topic. Research shows that companies leveraging design opportunities have generated 32% higher revenues - hence, it's important to seize this opportunity and utilize this tool 🎙 Today the first post will be ready to read 📎 #branding_for_founders

At the heart of every business is a unique story, eager to be shared with the world. Branding is how we craft, maintain, and convey these stories. However, effective branding requires an efficient brand strategy as its foundation. This is where our Custom GPT tool comes in, designed to help you develop a brand strategy for your business and brainstorm ideas. https://lnkd.in/dJ3HMKHq Why did this idea come to my mind? In my role providing brand identity design services, I've noticed a common thread: many clients lack a clear brand strategy. Startups often find it unfeasible to hire a full-time in-house branding and communication team or to engage a branding agency. To address this challenge, I've developed the Brand Strategist GPT. This tool assists in formulating a brand strategy independently. While it doesn't replace the expertise of an experienced human strategist, having some guidance is better than none. This is still an early version, and I welcome your use and feedback to improve it further. Thank you, and Happy Makar Sankranti! #branding #brandstrategy #startup #founders

It will help you build a sustainable business a deeper audience connection a personal brand reflecting YOU. Trust the Process. _ _ _ Found any value here? If yes, please share 🤩 Cheers! Your Tech Startup’s Voice Is Dying.. The harsh reality: Your team is top-notch. Your tech is cutting-edge But your brand? It’s invisible. And that’s a serious issue. Here’s why: - You brand messaging is generic - Your copy isn’t benefit-focused - Your offer is like everyone else. This is costing you big time. - Slower user adoption. - Missed funding opportunities. - A brand that’s forgettable in your industry But there’s a clear path forward: 1. Define your unique value proposition ↳ What’s your superpower? Make it crystal clear. 2. Speak directly to your users’ pain points ↳ They need to know you understand their challenges. 3. Position your customer as the hero ↳ Your tech is the tool; they’re the ones making the impact. 4. Craft a consistent and compelling narrative ↳ Every touchpoint should tell the same powerful story. 5. Focus on being memorable, not just different ↳ Differences can be overlooked. Memorable builds loyalty. Now, picture this: - Users who instantly see your value. - A brand that sticks, bringing unstoppable growth - A tech brand that dominates every pitch meeting. That’s what happens when you stop blending in and start owning your space. P.S. What’s that ONE thing you’re doing today to make your brand unforgettable?

🤯Performance and Growth driven teams are killing your businesss. When people tell me that they are absolutely sure that performance and growth strategies are way more important than brand driven strategies I have 3 routes of logical and easy ways to explain what brand driven strategies can do: 1- Talk about IP industries: Intellectual Property is the business of generating value over brands. 2- Show them Maximum Effort : what Ryan Reynolds did here is probably one smartest approaches into understanding the need of telling stories and building value from them. Of course he is already a superstar, but he put his understanding of storytelling into building business and his deal with Mint Mobile is one of the biggest examples of value generation through branding. 3- Ask them to think about Private Labels: Most of the people think of this type of business in the entire opposite way but if you think deeper, is about reundersranding products that already exist with a brand vision that creates value. Yes, you need to follow numbers, of course, your business don’t exist in the air. But, building on top of short term metrics leaves potential on the table. Is through actual human connection and storytelling that business truly grow. Think of the biggest brands in the world… how fast could they be replicated or replaced? A great PRODUCT is easily replaceable. A great BRAND is not.

I hate the phrase "Think outside the box". It is a wildly ironic cliché. A bland, over-used, and unoriginal phrase that is supposed to encourage creative or unusual ideas. To make things worse… Although people are encouraged to "think outside the box", "out-of-the-box" thinking is rarely welcomed—unless it fits in the box. Innovation is desired, yet innovative ideas are rarely embraced when first introduced. So the default is to stay as close to the metaphorical box as possible, which leads the recycling of old solutions and clichés. (-_-)..zzZZ In the world of social media content creation, finding the balance between palatable and distinctive is crucial. Whether selling to corporations or individuals, the key lies in the presentation of the idea (not the idea itself). When something looks and sounds strong, people pay attention (even if they don't come on board right away). Strong content branding grabs attention whether your offer is destroying the box or sits neatly within it. 😊

The Crucial Role of Creativity in Business Success (By Souheil Semaan) In today’s dynamic business landscape, creativity is no longer a luxury… it’s a necessity. Whether you’re a startup founder, a corporate executive, or a freelancer, fostering creativity within your organization can lead to innovation, growth, and improved outcomes…. it’s a strategic advantage . Innovative solutions require both novelty and usefulness. While creativity generates unique and original ideas, not all of them are necessarily useful. However, without a creative spark, true innovation cannot exist. Creative thinking fuels the development of groundbreaking products, services, and processes. It is essential for generating unique and original concepts, which serve as the foundation for innovative solutions. Without it, true innovation cannot exist. It’s the spark that ignites groundbreaking changes within organizations. Creativity allows businesses to work smarter rather than harder. While routines and structures are important, they shouldn’t hinder improvement and growth. When employees have the freedom to think creatively, and when a creative and innovative environment is fostered, productivity levels can soar, leading to better and more productive outcomes. External and internal events, as technological advancements, market shifts, or global crises (such as the COVID-19 pandemic) can disrupt an organization’s structure. Imaginative thinking and innovation are critical for adapting and maintaining business operations during such times. Creative approaches to challenges don’t always require significant adjustments to the business model; sometimes small modifications can lead to improved efficiency. Every situation is unique, and creative thinking is essential and a saviour. Cognitive fixedness( Believing that there’s only one way to approach a situation) can also hinder growth. Encouraging creative thinking and acting on findings allows businesses to adapt to changing circumstances and avoid stagnation I repeat again, that creativity isn’t a luxury, it’s a natural strategic advantage. To embrace it, encourage it, and leverage visuals to communicate effectively will surely increase the chances of success. Whether you’re preparing for a sales pitch, designing a logo, creating a presentation, or telling your brand’s story, remember that creativity and visuals go hand in hand. As a conclusion Creativity isn’t limited to specific roles, it’s essential across all industries. It plays a crucial role in business, and its impact extends beyond specific job titles like graphic designers or marketers. Creativity isn’t just about art; it’s about finding better ways to work. Without creative thinking, businesses risk becoming stagnant and losing their competitive edge. In today’s world, business leaders must encourage creative problem-solving, cross functional collaboration and act on findings to prevent stagnation. Souheil Semaan

Your startup’s mission statement is killing your brand. Instead, you need a brand story that makes your customer feel. A brand story isn’t just words on a page. It’s the heartbeat of your startup. It's what turns customers into fans and transactions into relationships. Here are 3 reasons why a brand story is important for your startup: 1. Stories Connect ↳ They bridge the gap between your startup and your audience's emotions. 2. Stories Engage ↳ They hold your audience’s attention longer than a mission statement ever could. 3. Stories Convert ↳ They convert your audience into loyal customers who want to be part of your story. A mission statement speaks to the mind. A brand story speaks to the heart. Take Dropbox for example. They didn’t just offer file storage. They shared a vision of simplicity and accessibility in a digital world full of clutter. So, how do you build a powerful brand story? 1. Identify your Why ↳ Forget features and benefits. Why does your startup exist? What change are you trying to make? 2. Understand your target audience ↳ Speak their language and try to understand their struggles. Your story should align with your customer’s story. 3. Be Authentic ↳ Drop the corporate jargon and buzzwords. Share real stories, real struggles, and real triumphs. By shaping a powerful brand story, you not only captivate your audience but also create a unique space in the market for your business. Your brand's story is the heartbeat of your business. It's time to tell it. Leave a comment to start a conversation. 😊 PS: Repost this ♻️ to help others tell their brand story.

Do brainstorming sessions at your company really spark innovation? From my journey, the answer has often been no. Real progress demands more than just idea generation. In my ventures, countless brainstorming sessions seemed promising but rarely led to actionable results. It's a common trap many entrepreneurs face. Brainstorming feels productive. Yet, without a system to implement these ideas, they just float without direction. 1. Systematize the Process: Introduce clear methods to transition from ideas to execution. 2. Bring in Experts: Sometimes, outside specialists can offer the structured solutions that internal teams miss. 3. Measure Outcomes: Don't just brainstorm; set up metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of every session. Through my experiences, I've learned that effective problem-solving isn't about the quantity of ideas but the quality of execution. Shifting from free-form brainstorming to structured problem-solving has consistently delivered tangible benefits. Think about your last few brainstorming sessions. Did they bring the change you hoped for? If not, maybe it's time for a new approach. If you're ready to see real results, let's connect and rethink your strategy together. https://lnkd.in/gDyTMEmm

Continuing my tips and tricks on How to make your brand shine? And adding one more picture made by Ukrainian art photographer in Berlin. This Saturday evening I want to talk about the power of brand purpose for small and media businesses. Many small to media businesses focus their messaging on "what we do" and "how we do it". However, leading with the "why we do it" is key to attracting the right audience. Understanding and promoting company brand purpose as a core marketing pillar can create a compelling narrative and forge meaningful connections with customers. A 2019 Porter Novelli study revealed the impact of brand purpose: 89% of Americans (most of my clients focus on Nothernamerican market) view purpose-led brands more positively. 86% are more likely to trust a brand with a clear purpose. Brands leading with purpose gain 83% more consumer loyalty. Aligning your company purpose with your target audience's aspirations can yield significant results. Ask yourself these three questions to clarify your brand purpose: 1. Why did we start our business? 2. What core belief drives us forward? 3. Why do we aim to exist? Focus on "why" and get the real value of a valid brand purpose for your business. Remember, I consult small to media businesses and help company brands shine 🌟
