I can hardly believe it has already been a year and a half since I joined Deel 🎉 One thing is certain: time truly flies when you are enjoying what you do. Working as a Global Workforce Consultant at Deel comes with great responsibilities and high expectations at the fastest growing tech company in history. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I take great pride in my personal and professional development 💙 Since joining Deel, my performance has evolved significantly. My average monthly quota attainment has increased from an initial average to 135% per month, and I am currently at 254% for this current quarter. This progress has not come overnight, and I have learned valuable lessons along the way. Here are a few takeaways that have helped me on the way: Trust the process: Progress takes time, and meaningful results come from consistent effort. Remember, small steps can lead to significant achievements. Little by little, and one day little suddenly becomes a lot! Continuous improvement: Regularly refining your approach is essential. As the world evolves, so must you. Maintain humility and enjoy the journey: A positive attitude not only enhances your experience but also creates a more enjoyable interaction with prospects and clients. Focus more on the present: I have been there myself, stressing & worrying about the tomorrow's together with my future targets. By doing so, I lost sight of an important aspect: What can I actually achieve TODAY that puts me in a better position for tomorrow while having fun doing so. And trust me, the tomorrow's will come anyway every single day 😀 I'm incredibly grateful to my former manager, Jakob Österberg, and my current manager, Freddie Johansson, for their unwavering support and trust over the past 18 months.Thank you for being such inspiring leaders ❤️ You guys rock big time 🎸⚡ I also want to say thank you to ALL of my amazing teammates in the Nordics Erkko Puranen, Magnus Thomsen, Nilas Harmon, Philip Göthberg, Sheriff Shahen, Fanny Olander, Peter Eisenberg and Steen Álvarez Jacobsen. 🚀 Approaching my first 90 days at LinkedIn and it has been a whirlwind! Time has flown by, packed with A LOT of learning and some amazing experiences. Grateful for the warm welcome and support from everyone across the company. Ramping a new leader can be taxing but no one has let on to that (yet). Quite the opposite in fact. It feels like I've been here longer than just a quarter, yet my daily discovery of new acronyms continues to remind me of my newcomer status… 🌟 Highlights so far: •𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦: From the Bay Area to Chicago, New York, and Toronto, meeting our team across North America has been truly inspiring. I refuse to pick a favorite (how could I?) even though some teams have applied pressure to do so. •𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Each office visit has only deepened my appreciation and understanding for our company culture. A standout moment was a heartfelt session with our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging leaders in Toronto. Hearing their stories and passion firsthand was both moving and motivating. •𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Spending time with our team and customers has been a blast. Having recently been a customer myself, it's been rewarding and fun to be on the other side of the table, helping our customers grow their businesses. 🎯 Wrapping up the Quarter Strong: •Today marks the end of both the quarter and fiscal year, and the energy and winning vibes are palpable. 🦃 Reflecting on Gratitude This Thanksgiving 🦃 This year, I’ve been reflecting on what truly matters—and it’s the blend of opportunities, innovation, and the incredible people around me that make the journey worthwhile. 🌟 Impressing my younger and older selves: I recently came across a quote about living to impress the 8-year-old and 80-year-old versions of yourself. Looking back, the 8-year-old me would be thrilled by my role today, and I hope the 80-year-old me will look back and smile at the choices made along the way. 🏆 Honoring milestones: One of the highlights this year was being a finalist for the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Rising Star Award. While I didn’t win, it was an incredible chance to connect with talented professionals, celebrate growth, and expand my network meaningfully. 🤖 Learning through innovation: Diving deeper into AI has been transformative. It’s no longer just a buzzword—it’s a tool that’s reshaping our industry, opening doors to new efficiencies, and helping us navigate complex challenges. 💼 Career growth: Being promoted to Director was a pivotal moment.
