After putting some clean time together, some of us have a tendency to forget what our most important priority is. Once a week or less we say, "I've gotta get to a meeting tonight. It's been.. " We've been caught up in other things, important for sure, but no more so than our continued participation in Narcotics Anonymous. It happens gradually. We get jobs. We reunite with our families. We're raising children, the dog is sick, or we're going to school at night. The house needs to be cleaned. The lawn needs to be mowed. We have to work late. We're tired. There's a good show at the theater tonight. And all of a sudden, we notice that we haven't called our sponsor, been to a meeting, spoken to a newcomer, or even talked to God in quite a while. What do we do at this point? Well, we either renew our commitment to our recovery, or we continue being too busy to recover until something happens and our lives become unmanageable. Quite a choice! Our best bet is to put more of our energy into maintaining the foundation of recovery on which our lives are built. That foundation makes everything else possible, and it will surely crumble if we get too busy with everything else. Just for today: I can't afford to be too busy to recover. I will do something today that sustains my recovery. We are here to help. I am deeply grateful for simply breathing today. Over a year ago, I couldn’t say that. Back then, I felt crushed under the weight of countless responsibilities, unable to see a way out. I’m grateful for the burnout this caused. Without it, I wouldn’t have discovered just how strong I am or realized my ability to rise again and fight. 💪🏼✨ ✅ I’m grateful for the closed doors. 🚪 ✅ I’m grateful for those who told me I couldn’t achieve what I was envisioning. 🙅🏻♀️ ✅ I’m grateful for those who tried to hold me back out of fear or competition. 🛑 ✅ I’m grateful for the harsh words and criticism. 💬 ✅ I’m grateful for being underestimated, ignored, mistreated, ashamed and hidden away in the shadows. 🕳️ ✅ I’m grateful for the solitude—it was there that I found clarity and answers. 🌌 ✅ I’m endlessly grateful for the close friends Heaven sent my way—those angels in disguise who offered their shoulders to cry on and shared words of encouragement and unwavering support. They walk the talk. 🕊️❤️ Today, I stand tall. 🙌🏼 The burnout has healed, and my future looks brighter than ever. 🌟 Yes, the light at the end of the tunnel is real, and it’s possible to reach it. 🌈 But here’s the truth: gratitude doesn’t come immediately. You must first allow yourself to feel angry, frustrated, and heartbroken. Cry it out. 😔 Let go of those emotions that keep you stuck. Only then can you truly embrace gratitude, take the lessons, and move forward. ➡️ So, if you’re in that tunnel, trust the process. Allow yourself to feel everything, and when the time comes, choose gratitude. 🙏🏼 It changes everything. 💖 Here’s to standing tall, brighter futures, and the strength we gain along the way. 🙏🏼✨ Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁! 🫶🏼 #MindsetForSuccess #MindsetMatters #MindsetForGrowth
We are grateful for our families, friends, business partners, and colleagues who support our work! 🙏🏼 Enjoy your #Thanksgiving! 🫶🏼🍁🍂🦃

👊 Struggles don’t define you—they shape you. At Celtic Financial Planning Ltd, our latest Christmas campaign is about more than just giving; it’s about creating hope. This year, we’re supporting three families who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances. 🤔 For me, this campaign is deeply personal. Producing the accompanying video was one of the hardest things I’ve done. It brought back memories of my own childhood struggles, while also highlighting the challenges these families endure today. Just hours before filming, I learned that one of the families’ grandfathers had been given a terminal diagnosis and would be spending his last Christmas with them. That news hit me hard. The video is raw because so are the emotions behind it. As a child, I saw my parents sacrifice everything to ensure my brother and I had what we needed. I’ll never forget my dad breaking down as he handed me £20, saying it was all he had for Christmas. Those experiences taught me two things: to work hard and to always be grateful. They also instilled in me a drive to give back, which is why community and charity are central to my business philosophy. 🏆 I firmly believe that we rise by lifting others. That’s not a typical corporate mantra in financial services—and honestly, I don’t care. For me, success isn’t measured in profit margins or awards; it’s measured in the lives we touch. 🙏 One family shared this message with me: “We felt like humanity had left us, but a stranger paying for Christmas has restored our faith in kindness.” If you can, help others. It doesn’t have to be grand—sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness leave the greatest impact.
🎁 Celebrating the Spirit of Giving with Celtic Financial Planning 🎁 This holiday season, we at Celtic Financial Planning are committed to spreading joy and making a significant difference in our community. We've partnered with NEWCIS Carers Centre to support three local families who have faced significant challenges, ensuring they experience the magic of Christmas. 🎥 In our latest video, "Bringing Joy: How We're Funding Christmas for Three Local Families," we invite you to witness the powerful impact of kindness. Watch as we share their stories and the emotional journey of our Christmas campaign. 👀 See the real difference community support can make and join us in bringing hope back to those who need it most. Let's remind each other of the true meaning of the holiday season. #ChristmasSpirit #GivingBack #CelticFinancialPlanning #CommunitySupport

At the beginning of the pandemic, someone shared this list of seven questions to meditate on as we all worked to cope with that very scary and troubling time: 1. What am I grateful for today? 2. What are my 3 areas of focus that are in my control? 3. How am I communicating with my employees, my customers, and my vendors? 4. What expectations of “normal” am I letting go of today? 5. How am I practicing self care so I can best support my family, my organization and my community? 6. How can I give back to support others during this time? 7. Am I taking good care of myself? Let us carve out the time to heal versus glossing over a stressful time.
