The calming and healing properties of wood are getting more and more recognition, resulting in requests for examples of mass timber used in healthcare facilities. Wood fits well to both physical and mental healthcare facility purposes for many reasons: 🏨 Nature-inspired interiors with wood reduce stress and enhance recovery, as studies show faster patient recuperation with natural views. 💡 Faster recovery times lower care costs. Wood's antimicrobial properties and cleanability ensure hygiene standards are met. 🌬️ The exposed Sylva™ by Stora Enso CLT elements also contribute to the overall healthy indoor air quality, and are M1-classified, meaning they are proven low-emitting of volatile organic compounds. We have provided wood products for several healthcare building projects. Take a look at some of them and read the article for more insights: https://lnkd.in/eRbMQ7hQ Thanks to ZMP Holzbausysteme, CLT-S, EURBAN Limited, and B&K Structures, Morlot Construction (CCM - Création Bois - Couvracier - Morel) we have delivered several healthcare building projects. 📷 Architekten Maurer & Partner | Photo: Tschank
