Online applications done properly can yield results. This means customizing your application for each job and sending a follow up message to the recruiter to flag your application. Having said that, online applications should only represent 10% of your job search strategy. The rest of your time should be spent networking and building your brand to attract the right opportunities.

"Applying for fewer & targeted jobs"- this one often gets overlooked. There are a lot of people hooked on the spray-and-pray approach, but you just get lost in the pool of applicants. Busy work doesn't necessarily mean you are making progress, being targeted and communicating your value is what will get attention. Great callout Zohaib Ahmad
