I am elated to announce that I was shortlisted for the Zonal Round of Eureka! 2024, Asia’s largest business model competition organized by IIT Bombay. Out of 25,000+ registrations, I emerged among the top 500 teams, marking an exciting step in my entrepreneurial journey! 🚀 I presented my business idea, "Strive to Thrive," which focuses on helping students volunteer. Some great insights from a young technopreneur we support through our Futuremakers programme at Standard Chartered. Echoing Zulal, I believe inclusivity and equitable access need to stay firmly on the #AI agenda. The challenges of unlocking local innovation in AI tends to correlate with inadequate access to internet services, limited computing power, and lack of sectoral training. Markets and communities that are already struggling to take advantage of current AI systems will probably fall further behind, unless some of these trends are actively reversed. There is a need for governments, private-sector leaders and tech experts to build support and governance for the equitable development, distribution and access to AI.
