Yesterday I had the opportunity to enjoy my first ever Diwali celebration. Diwali or "Festival of Lights" is one of the most significant and widely celebrated festivals in India - across traditions. Diwali emphasizes themes of renewal, prosperity, the triumph of good over evil, and light over dark. Thank you Allan Adriatico, CRPC™ for inviting me, and Bank of America, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch for hosting and orchestrating this wonderful event! The food, conversation, and networking were good but the panels are always phenomenal. Both Gagan Batta, and Hiten Shah are first generation immigrants from India and their stories of hard work, grit, determination, and success by necessity embody the values of the American Dream and Entrepreneurship. Although, both of their journeys vary significantly there were common lessons and values both embodied and shared. For anyone that is an entrepreneur, business owner, or has a dream - here are the common lessons they shared: 1. Success by Necessity. 2. Listen to your heart. 3. Follow your dream and stay balanced. 4. Work hard towards your dream. 5. Success will follow.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁: ✨ This Diwali, I’m reflecting on how 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘴 can lead to 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴. It’s these little victories that often carry the most meaning, each step forward and challenge overcome bringing us closer to our 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 and 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨. 🏆 •🙏 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲: Recognizing gratitude for the opportunities, lessons, and growth that come our way. These moments remind us of how far we’ve come and inspire us to keep hustling toward our aspirations. •🚀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: Every small win fuels our hustle. Whether it’s completing a project, mastering a new skill, or hitting a personal milestone, each step propels us toward our larger ambitions. •🤝 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: Surrounding ourselves with those who inspire and support us is essential. Celebrating our wins together creates an environment of encouragement and shared success. This Diwali, let’s celebrate the light of our achievements, no matter how small, and recognize that they pave the way for even greater accomplishments. 🌟 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝘿𝙞𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙞 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨? 🌟 Five Lessons from Diwali 🌟 Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is a time of joy, celebration, and reflection. Here are five simple yet profound lessons we can learn from this beautiful festival: (1). Good Wins Over Evil: Diwali shows us that good always wins in the end. Let’s stay honest and kind. (2). Keep Learning: Lighting lamps means getting rid of darkness. Keep learning new things to grow. (3). Work Together: Diwali is about family and togetherness. Working with others makes us stronger. (4). Be Generous: Giving gifts during Diwali reminds us to share what we have with others. (5). New Starts: Diwali is a time for new beginnings. Reflect on the past, set new goals, and start fresh. May the light of Diwali bring joy, prosperity, and wisdom to all. Happy Diwali! 🪔✨

Happy Diwali to all (Diwali week) Diwali is the festival of light. It symbolizes the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and light over darkness. As I see my neighbors putting out many diyas (tea lights) and preparing festive goodies, some encouraging thoughts come to my mind: 1) No matter how dark our darkest day is, eventually, as we exit the tunnel of darkness, we will see the light. What is needed here is the grit and patience to survive our darkest days. 2) I am always intrigued by the beautiful and vibrant patterns of rangoli, which I associate with Diwali celebrations. Celebrate success, celebrate life in ways that we deem beautiful and full of vibrancy, as it is never easy to have the grit and patience to consistently move towards the light at the end of the tunnel. 3) Gifting traditional sweets—my ex-colleague used to treat us to traditional Diwali sweets. Later, I realized this act of gifting has a deeper significance of gifting positivity and prosperity. Goodness in life needs to be shared and spread in order for one to truly enjoy it. May all of us work in our capacity toward our light, celebrate life and success with vibrancy, and bring the goodness of life to others. #happydiwali #celebratelifesuccesswithvibtancy #giftinggoodnessoflife

Happy Diwali! 🌟 As we celebrate the Festival of Lights, let’s reflect on some life lessons that resonate beyond the festivities: 1. Embrace New Beginnings: Diwali signifies the triumph of light over darkness. It’s a reminder to welcome new opportunities and growth in our personal and professional lives. 2. The Power of Community: Just as families and friends gather to celebrate, collaboration and teamwork are essential for success. Support one another and celebrate collective achievements. 3. Resilience and Hope: Diwali teaches us to remain hopeful even in challenging times. Cultivate resilience and maintain a positive outlook—it's key to overcoming obstacles. 4. Gratitude: Take a moment to appreciate your journey and those who have supported you. Expressing gratitude fosters strong relationships and a positive work environment. 5. ✨ The True Essence of Diwali – More Than Just a Festival of Lights ✨ As Diwali brightens homes and hearts around the world, let’s take a moment to embrace the deeper meaning behind the celebrations: * Good Triumphs Over Evil – Reminding us that courage and kindness always win in the end. * Light Over Darkness – Filling our lives with hope, warmth, and positivity. * Unity in Diversity – A festival for everyone, bringing people together regardless of backgrounds. * Strengthening Bonds – A time to reconnect with family, friends, and colleagues. * Gratitude and Humility – Pausing to appreciate what we have and share our joy with others. * Generosity – Thinking of those who have less and doing what we can to lift them up. * Self-Reflection – Letting go of the old, embracing the new, and striving to be better. * Protecting the Planet – Choosing eco-friendly ways to celebrate and honor the earth. * The Joy of Giving – Sharing sweets, smiles, and gifts with the people we love. * Inner Peace – Finding calm within ourselves so we can light up the world around us. Let’s carry the spirit of Diwali beyond the festival itself, letting these values guide us every day. Wishing you all a Diwali filled with love, light, and lasting joy! 🪔🌟

This Diwali, Stop Scrolling and Start Living With notifications buzzing and timelines constantly refreshing, it’s easy to get lost in the digital world. ✨ This festival of lights, let’s put down our phones, pause the endless scrolling, and truly connect with family and friends. Take in the laughter, the shared memories, the stories, and the warmth around you. Here are three ways to be more present this Diwali: Turn on “Do Not Disturb” — Give yourself a tech break, even for a few hours, and focus on the moments unfolding right in front of you. Capture Moments with Your Heart — Instead of constantly snapping photos, let yourself enjoy the moment. The memories will stay brighter in your heart than on your phones. Enjoy — Take a moment to express what you’re grateful for and encourage your loved ones to do the same. Comparison is easy as human beings and feeling dissatisfied as well. But with gratitude and appreciation overwhelming feelings of being dissatisfied can be taken over. Wishing you a Diwali filled with meaningful connections, joy, and the warmth of togetherness. 🪔 Happy Diwali! Let’s light up the world, not our screens! 💡

May your path be clear, and may every step lead you closer to your dreams. Happy Diwali!" "Remember, every challenge you face today is a stepping stone to something bigger. Even when the results seem slow or setbacks come one after another, know that your efforts are building a foundation of resilience and growth. Success doesn’t come overnight, but every time you push forward, you’re strengthening skills, deepening knowledge, and building character. The journey may feel long, but trust that every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. Keep giving your best, because the persistence you show now will define your path and open doors you might not yet see.
