🔋 Maximizing Battery Life in IoT Devices with Low Power Modes Efficient battery management is crucial in IoT deployments. Advanced power-saving techniques like Power Saving Mode (PSM), Extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX), and Discontinuous Reception (DRX) allow devices to enter deep sleep states without losing network connectivity, significantly extending battery life—sometimes up to 10 years. This not only improves device reliability but also reduces maintenance costs. At Cavli Wireless, we're integrating these low power modes into our cellular IoT modules to ensure your deployments are both efficient and sustainable. 🔗 Learn more about these power-saving modes in our latest blog post: Exploring Low Power Modes in Cellular LPWAN: Techniques & Applications https://lnkd.in/d4FjmB45 #IoT #internetofthings #LPWAN #BatteryManagement #Cavli

Is there a strong argument for using budget IOT devices within premium Smart Home systems? For example using a Shelly wireless contact sensor to register a side gate latch or smart relay to power cycle a sky box. The price of these IOT devices are now incredibly attractive even in our projects so we've started to trial them. I'm interested in other integrators thoughts on this. #smarthome #intelligenthomes #smarthomegadgets #IOT

Testing is the most crucial stage of the design life cycle. IoT devices need to perform seamlessly as soon as the end user opens the box, but it’s difficult — sometimes impossible — to test every use case scenario on a public LTE network. As regulatory demands for IoT device testing become more stringent, private networks will likely be a necessity for large-volume production. Read our latest blog to discover five business advantages of device testing to make your IoT project a success: https://okt.to/2sO9Sl #IoTConnectivitySolutions #PrivateLTENetworks
