The addition of a Governance function to the recently released NIST CSF 2.0 highlights its critical importance to enable the incorporation of cyber security into an organisation’s strategic enterprise risk management process. This clearly highlights that fact that cyber security is not just a technical concern to the business.

There has been so much focus on technical controls for many years and it’s time for structured cyber governance.
