The Smart Fuel Cap SFC-1 detects the rotation and any tampering attempts before the cap is opened. In the event of an unauthorized attempt to open it, a signal is sent to the tracker, triggering an audible alert and sending an alarm to the connected server.
Tank refilling openings are also logged, allowing the fleet manager to know when and where the tank was opened.
The cap is equipped with a red LED to indicate the presence of a monitoring device.
Inside the cabin, a receiver informs the driver if the cap is being manipulated without their knowledge.
No drilling or wiring is required. The integrated battery has a lifespan of 5 years.
