Cataract Surgery High Fidelity Simulation
The objective of HelpMeSee non profit organization is to eradicate cataract blindness by 2030 which represents 20 million people worldwide. To reach this objective, InSimo has been involved in the development of the whole physics-based simulation software embedded in an innovative simulator with an unprecedented level of realism.
The result of our work with HelpMeSee and our partners is an high-fidelity simulator operating now in many training centers around the world, allowing the education of 30 000 surgeons to Manual Small Incisions Cataract Surgery (MSICS).
