10 reasons why I want you to quit your sales job and join my team in 2020

What's the one thing all high performers look for in their careers and life? A high performance environment to challenge them to greatness.

If you're feeling unfulfilled, under-recognized or under-rewarded in your sales job then here's 10 reasons I want you to quit and apply to work with our team at Dent.

  1. You’re not a cog in the machine. We are an entrepreneurial business and we view sales performance as a vital ingredient in success. We believe the only truth in business and life is the result. You live by this mantra too.
  2. Warm leads - So many warm leads. Our online marketing strategy brings in hundreds of warm leads every month. We also have thousands of more leads we’ve not been able to contact and that number is growing every month. These are people that have read our books, completed our online scorecards and downloaded our digital tools.
  3. We expect you to leave us when you’re ready. Sales is a business within a business and we know this is a stepping stone for you to learn, grow and develop your skills to do even bigger things. In many cases, our past sales people have gone on to start businesses of their own.
  4. We highly value sales professionals. We don’t think of sales as a necessary function. We know you are trusted to represent our brand. We invest in you, pay you well for performance and support you to perform at your best.
  5. That thing you do quite naturally is awesome. Quick banter and good humour is the glue that binds new relationships. This isn’t a “quirk” of yours, it’s an asset, and we respect that.
  6. We want you to take time to sharpen up. Your passion for learning and developing product knowledge is a valuable part of the role. We allocate time for you to learn and train and we don’t think sales role-play is weird... it’s not weird that musicians rehearse and sports people drill! You're not afraid to ask for what you want and you demand a high standard from yourself and your clients.
  7. We want you to leverage tech and media where possible. It’s the 2020s! Cold calling people is lame, not using video/text/social is just silly. Your goal is to make sales not be busy.
  8. We want you to think. Sales professionals are often the first to see and hear vital feedback from clients. You’re not just in sales, you’re also in R&D for our business.
  9. We don’t expect you to sell something that’s average. We’ve won fast growth and culture awards. We have a 10 year track record of success. We have best selling books. We have over 100 remarkable video case studies of happy clients.
  10. We don’t expect you to start today. You’re a professional, you’ll put in your notice where you are now, you’ll leave on good terms and start with us in 2020 - new decade, fresh start!
